Nick Cimorelli???

Family day out...

[Y/N P.O.V]

I wake up and see a good morning text from Nick, I send one back while smiling. I throw my light blue blankets off of me and head down stairs to make breakfast. Matt is already sitting at the table.
"Where's dad?" I asked seeing as the car isn't in the driveway.

"What do you think, he's at work again."
Matt says while shrugging and not once looking up from his phone.

I nod my head slowly with a frown. Ever since our mom left us, our dad has been working way more than he probably should be. Today we were supposed to have a family day out but yet again he chooses work over his own kids. But that's not gonna stop us from having a family day no sir.
I go over to the stove and start to make homemade pancakes. Soon Ethan is up and we're all at the table eating.
"So what do you guys want to do today?" I ask them.
They both look up and look at each other already knowing what they wanted to do.
"Let's do paintball!" Ethan excitingly speaks.
I laughed and ruffle his fluffy light brown hair.

Soon later we all get ready for the day ahead of us. We all Pile into Matt's car an head to the nearest paintball place there is which is like 45 min drive. Honestly we should have looked it up online to see if there open but of course I didn't and when we got there it was closed for 2 weeks! So we got back in the car and discussed on where we wanna go now.
" how about we go to the mall?" I suggest.
"Sure."
They both agree and we head to the mall.
"Ping"
I look down at my phone and see a text from Nick.

Nick: hey, what's up?

Y/n: I'm going to the mall with my brothers, yk family time😂

Nick: oh cool.

I look up and see where almost at the mall. Matt finds a parking spot and I text Nick one last thing.

Y/n: haha yeah, I'll ttyl after I get out of the mall.

Nick: okay:)

I put my phone in my pocket and we go inside.

A few hours later after going into literally every store almost twice we head back to Matt's car.
"Shot gun!" Ethan shouts.
"What no! I get shot gun!" I yell back.
We both take off running to the car. And of course I gets there first.
"Aw come on really Y/n."  He said kinda annoyed.
"Sorry buddy, I got here first."
He gets in the back sit clearly a bit annoyed.
Matt pulls out of the parking lot and gets on the highway to get home.

"Ring ring ring"
I look at my phone and see "Nick" pop up in my screen. Of course I answer it.

"Hey! How was your day at the mall?" He asked.
"Oh hey, it was really good, we had a lot of fun, thanks"

While on the phone I look up and see a car acting a little weird, weaving in an out of lines, going slow then fast, but I just ignore it thinking nothing much of it.

"Yeah I'm not even home yet actually 😂" I tell Nick.

"Oh really? Sorry if I bothered you then, call me if you want when you get home."
Nick tells me sweetly.

"Oh of cour- LOOK OUT"
I interrupted myself with screaming "look out" but it was to late. The car that was weaving in and out of lines had crashed into us. And it wasn't good, it wasn't good at all.
