『✶11✶』The Cavalry Battle

"Now on to the next event! I already know what it is, of course." Midnight said as we all gathered around. "The next event will be... Cavalry Battle!"

"Cavalry battle... I'm going to suck at those..." Kaminari whined.

"We're teaming up, but how exactly?" Tsu questioned.

"Participants will, on their own, form teams of 2 to 5 members each and get into a horse-and-rider formation." Midnight added. "It's basically the same as a regular cavalry battle, but with 1 exception. Each for you has been assigned a point value based on your ranking in the last event." 

"So the point value of each team depends on its members!" Uraraka added.

"Ah. I see!" Mina commented.

"You guys don't hold back even though I'm talking, huh?!" Midnight yelled at them. "Anyways, yes. And your individual point values start at 5 at the bottom. So the student who took 43rd is worth 0, 42nd is worth 5 points, 41st is worth 10, you understand? But our first place participant is worth 10,000,000 points!"

I turned to Deku.... Well, everyone looked at him. Everyone was thinking the same thing. Deku's face was straight faced, eyes widened, trying not to explode, I would be doing the same if I was in his shoes.

Midnight continued on telling the rest of the rules. "Now, you have 15 minutes to build your teams. Start!"

Oh gosh, it's going to be a little tough for me to find people since I got 2nd place. I stood there, awkwardly, until I decided to walk around to see other people.

"Team up with me!"
"Hey, Bakugou, pick me!"
"He's picking me, of course!"

I walked pass a huge group behind Bakugou, well he's popular all of a sudden. "I don't even know what Quirks you have!"

"Hey! Todoroki chose his team already. Bakugou, team up with me!" Kirishima walked up to him.

"Ah, Spiky-Hair." Bakugou replied.

"The name's Kirishima! Remember it! And my hair is not that different from yours!"

I walked up to him, I'm his somewhat friend, he might pick me, "Boom boy! Let me be in your team!"

"I told you not to call me that!" He yelled.

"You know I'm not going to stop." I smiled.

"Aizawa. I want to team up with you too!" Kirishima said.

"Sure thing!" I highfived him.

"Hey, Bakugou, Aizawa, I have a plan if we get into a team. Listen up." Kirishima told both of us.

I grabbed Bakugou and pulled him close to me so he can hear Kiri.

"You both are going to be riders, right? Then your front horse better be someone who can take all those explosions from Bakugou and debris and walls from Aizawa. Who might that be?!"

"Someone who's not afraid to die." Bakugou said.

"Someone with guts." I added

"Not really, but yeah! It will be I, with my Hardening! I'll be a horse that'll never waver!"

Bakugou and I looked intrigued.

"You wanna be on top of the charts, right, Aizawa?! You wanna take down Midoriya, right, Bakugou?!"

Bakugou and I smiled widely.
