Late in the night on the 30th of April, a woman who had been pregnant went into early labour,  exactly two weeks before her designated delivery date. She was very worried because she had been carrying twins and she was very scared that something would happen to her beloved babies.

She informed her loving husband of the great pain she was experiencing and he immediaely responded by getting the bag filled with the things they had prepared for their babies several months before and loading them into the car. Then he took their 6 year old son to their next door neighbour.

While he  was doing that, enduring the pain, the wife went into their bathroom to prepare herself for the unexpected hospital visit.

They were eventually done preparing everything and soon enough they were on their way to the hospital. As soon as they arrived a nurse attended to them and gave them a room.

"Doctor Smith will see you shortly", the polite nurse said and left them alone.

They sat there in silence except for the frequent grunts and groans of pain, waiting for the doctor to arrive, and soon enough she did.

Doctor Smith arrived and examined her right away and told her she was not yet ready to give birth because she had not been dilated enough. They were told that they had to wait for some hours for her to fully dilate because she was only at 6cm out of 10cm.

The wife tried her best to endure the pain, making frequent grunts while her husband tried his best to comfort her anyway he could, though he was failing miserably.

After about two hours of frequent and terrible contractions she was fully dilated and ready to give birth.

So the birth began and at 11:55 one of the twins came out, it was a girl. They had a hard time getting her to cry but she eventually did, it wasn't much but it was a cry nonetheless. She was cleaned and handed to her father.

They got the other twin out a few minutes later. It was a girl too and she was born at exactly 12:01, 6 minutes apart from her twin. Just like that, the twins were born, the first on the 30th of April, and the second on the 1st of May.

They were so happy but there was a problem. They were yet to decide on names for their twin girls, since they thought that they still had two weeks until the babies would come they did not decide yet.

"Congratulations on your babies, and what will be the names of your lovely daughters?", a nurse asked holding a notepad and looked at them expectantly.

The couple looked at each other in a panic and the wife blurted out in panic  "April and Mae! I mean, their names are April and Mae, the first April and the other Mae".

"Alright, madam, can you spell the 'May' for me?", the nurse asked.

"Oh, um, M-A-E", the wife replied while the husband sat there, stunned.

"Alright, thank you. Congratulations again!", the nurse said and left the room.

The husband recovered from his state of shock and kissed the top of his wife's head.
      "Nice call, honey", he said.
"It just happened, but it feels right", she replied as she cradled both her babies in her arms.
