Life continued as usual with being raised to be better than muggles and muggle-borns . Until one day, Vega realized this was wrong.
It was a couple days to the twins' 9th birthday,and the duo wanted to do something special.
"Come on Vega!" Draco said excitedly" I wanna show you what we're doing before our birthday" "Ok Ok" She whisper screamed. "I want to see it now" "Come on and I'll show you"her brother said. Draco led Vega to a place full of rides ,candy,and toys.Vega read the sign and it said " Charity Carnival" She didn't know what that was so she kept moving. The twins saw candy of all types minus the wizarding ones."Well that's a bummer" said Vega. The first thing the duo went to was a ring toss game. They were in line and they saw a boy around 5 trying to win but wasn't doing to well.Draco laughed " How dumb is it that he couldn't just use magic to win."But Vega felt like she had an unfair advantage at life by being pure blooded. The carnival was fun,with winning prizes(Draco cheated at 5 games).About 3 hours later , She realized what the carnival was for. In front of her was a family of 3 holding a sign that said please help please do some charity" she felt so bad." I feel so bad, the muggles are so unfortunate yet here I am living everyone's dream life" she said to her self. From that day on,She decided that being cruel to muggles wasn't right.
That night, she ran to her mum,saying"I want to stop, I want to stop" whilst crying. Her mum asked " What do you want to stop, Vega?" she asked. " I want to stop being mean to muggles, I feel awful" Narcissa motioned her to be quiet as Lucius was coming. Lucius came in saying" Now, why are you crying." Vega quickly responded" I had a bad day, and kept on falling." "Ok, but a Malfoy shouldn't fall ,they should keep their structure and not be some bumbling fool" Lucius said coldly. And he left the room, Narcissa said to her daughter"It is a good thing you want to change and be a better person, but you best not let anyone know of it.Or you know what will happen." Vega nodded, she didn't want to be seen as a traitor to her family and be disowned like Sirius or her Aunt Andy.
From that day on Vega and Narcissa were closer than ever.Anytime one of them was upset(usually Vega) she would go to the other since they were the only ones in the manor who didn't believe in pure-blood "nobility"
