Hyesu tapped the tip of her pen repeatedly thinking of how to start her essay homework. She was having quite a hard time deciding what to write for the past 5 minutes compared to her bestfriend Yeseul who was writing her schedule neatly in her planner.
"Yeseul." She called softly just enough to be heard by the both of them.
Yeseul doesn't spare her eye contact and kept writing. "Hmm?"
"This is random but what do you like most about Jin?"
"Why are you suddenly asking that?" Yeseul out down her pen and has attention on her.
"Nothing. I just wanted to get your attention." She spread her arms on the table.
Yeseul looked back on her planner. "If your bored, can you please get these books for me? I need them." She asked softly.
Hyesu frowned but stood up from her seat anyway since she has nothing to do. "Fine. Ms. Student committee member."
She handed Hyesu the list and lazily went off her shoulders hanging from her body. She proceeded to the section which students call the "dusty section" because students barely go there.
"Why does she always love books from this section? Seriously." She muttered looking at the list of Yeseul's books to be borrowed. She could hear Yeseul in her head saying that the classics were always the best ones and she cringed at the thought of it.
She found the first book of Yeseul's list and hesitated a bit to pull it out because it looked dusty.
"Oh, great. Here's to dust getting into my system." She huffed and pulled it slowly. Dust escaped the shelf as she pulled it off of it. Her free hand waved off the dust from getting into her nose.
The next book on Yeseul's list was found 2 spaces above her head. She raised her hand but was unable to reach it. She even tiptoed but still can't. She already had her hand holding on to a shelf to lift herself up. She was so close to pulling it down.
"Need help?" A voice was heard out of nowhere.
"Hey." She grunted. "Yeah." She tried to reach higher but her fingers only touched the spine of the book. After a few seconds of hi-fiving the air she gave up and stepped back on her feet. She pulled her blouse down and faced the person. She was met with the same dark haired, hamster looking, angel-eyed Jungkook.
He stepped closer until they were just a few inches apart. He pointed at a book. "This one?"
"Nope."
"This?" He pointed to another one.
"No. The one next to it." She answered.
He carefully pulled it out with one hand effortlessly but had dust flying around the air. Looking up, Hyesu had a peck of dust stuck in her eye.
"Eye! Eye! I have something in my eye! It hurts! Blow it off! Now!" She was panicking and fanning her eye that was stinging.
"Hold still." Jungkook held her shoulders and made her face against him. He froze for a second as their faces were inches apart from each other already. He could feel his heart beat fast as if it was about to come out of his chest.
Hyesu looked like a complete dork blinking fast and telling him repeatedly to blow something off her eye. It still made Jungkook feel nervous and awkward all over again.
He wasn't in his senses. He inched closer to her face and blew softly.
"There. Thanks." Hyesu said blinking until she felt a soft pair of lips touch her cheek that made her eyes go wide as cherries.
