After their usual orders of food, full, Faith and Daniel spent the day doing what seemed like normal things, but the truth that was hanging over Daniel and in his pocket was putting a rather large weight on himself.
He tried his best to seem normal, cool, calm and collected, but he knew sooner or later Faith would figure something out.
She knew him too well.
And the time was now that Faith, a little angry, had decided to confront Daniel, inside a almost empty Trader Joe's.
"Alright cut the bullshit," Faith snapped, making Daniel jump slightly while holding a container of peanut butter cups.
"What?" Daniel asked, faked with what he hoped was confusion.
"You've been acting weird all day," Faith raised an eyebrow.
"I have not," Daniel lied.
"Daniel James Seavey," Faith warned, "tell me what's going on with you, or so help me-"
"Christina's pregnant," Daniel said truthfully, knowing that Corbyn told him, and hoping that Faith didn't know already so he could put off his weirdness on that.
"Yeah, she told me," Faith said, making Daniel swear loudly in his brain, "but what does that have to do with you?"
"It got me thinking," Daniel began, putting the container back on the shelf.
"Okay?" Faith pressed.
"It's really nothing," Daniel wrung his hands behind his back.
"Come on," Faith snapped again, "let's hear it,"
"That maybe," Daniel stalled, "youwhodwanahavkiswitme," Daniel mumbled quietly.
"What did you say?" Faith's eyes squinted slightly.
"You would wanna have kids with me," Daniel said clearly, mustering all the courage he had.
It was, in fact, not a lie, the thought of Daniel and the love of his life having children had been stuck it the back of his brain for quite some time.
"Hell yes," Faith replied immediately and grinned.
"Wait, what?" Daniel's eyes widened and met hers, "are you serious? Like, deadass?" he asked hopefully.
"Deadass," Faith replied, "I've been thinking-"
"Oh, yes!" Daniel exclaimed happily, jogging and hugging Faith tightly, lifting her off the ground. "Yes, yes yes yes!" He exclaimed, kissing Faith's face as he spoke.
"Well someone's happy," Faith laughed.
"Of course I am!" Daniel beamed. "I was so scared that you didn't want to," he breathed out.
"Why wouldn't I want to? I love you," Faith wrapped her arms around Daniel's neck.
"And I love you."
