Part 2

"Baby girl wake up, we're going out for breakfast." I hear my nanna whisper to me. "Alright my love. I'm going to shower." I smile at my nanna. Rolling out of bed, I admire my beautiful glowing skin in my full length mirror by my bathroom. I'm not full of myself, but my nanna made sure I loved myself.

I walked inside my bathroom and turned on the shower, stripping down and stepping in, I left the water flow over my head and body. Taking my shampoo I lathered my scalp and hair, making sure it was completely clean before rinsing. Next I washed my body in my coconut cream body milk, then used my summer's eve for my lady parts. I got out soon after and wrapped my hair in an old shirt, oiling my body I got dressed in a nice summer dress with cute open toe sandals. I unwrapped my hair, applied leave in conditioner and styling gel. I was ready to go.

"Daddy, My love, I'm ready to go." I called walking down the stairs. They were waiting at the door. Getting in the car I buckled in and checked my phone. A text from Danielle asking if I wanted to go to the mall. I responded a quick sure and put my phone away. "So you lovely people, were are we dining today.?" I love my small family, we're so close. I tell my father and my love everything. "Well Kami, we are heading to I Hop.!" "Alright daddy."

We pulled in to the parking lot and went inside, quickly being seated I already knew what I wanted. So I just chatted with my nanna. "Baby girl do you see that young man sneaking peeks at you!" My grandmother's statement caught me by surprise, so I turned around and sure enough saw a handsome guy smiling my way. I smiled back and turned to my father and nanna. "He is handsome, but I don't judge a book by it's cover. Plus I'm still trying to figure what I'm going to do with the rest of my life." My father smiled at me and placed his hand over mine. "Sweets, calm down it's ok. Just breath I'm sure you'll figure everything out." "And he's coming this way!" My love exclaimed. I then felt a tap on my arm.

"Excuse me for disturbing your family time, but sir may I have a word with your daughter?" Mystery guy asked my father. I couldn't help the small smile that formed on my lips. Daddy nodded his head and said he'd order my usual. Standing up taking his hand in the process we made our way to the side. "I couldn't help but to steal glances at you, my name is David what's yours lovely?" So Mr. David has manners. "My name is Kamrin, but everyone calls me Kami. Nice to meet you David." "Same here, nice to meet you. If it isn't any trouble I would like your number so we can get to know one another." Respectful and charming, hmm. I thought. "Sure." We exchanged numbers and I went back my family, the rest was uneventful and we made our way home.

I text Danielle and Damian to be ready when I picked them up to go to the mall. I picked up my bag and went to my car. I have a convertible bug, it's a soft pink just right for me. Pulling up to Danielle's house these two knuckle heads came out. "Hey my beautiful people." I exclaimed. They both kissed my checks and got inside. I was contemplating telling them about David, and said why not.

"I met a guy today at I Hop with my father and my love."

"Ooooooh girl was he fine, smooth voice, light or dark meat?" Damian yelled. "How'd it go, what did papa say?" Was Danielle's response. She is more chilled then Damian. "Well daddy didn't say to much, my love on the other hand was pushing me for the guy. But he is cute." I took a pause. "Tall, about 6'3 over my 5'10 frame, a nice shade of mocha, long dreads, but it's cute on him." "He sounds cute, hook a brother up with a friend girl." He is too much, haha. "I have to get to know him first."

Pulling up to the mall, we got out and looked around. I went to Gilly Hicks for more underwear, then went to plus size rainbow. I love the various clothes options they have. Finally making my way to this new shoe store they opened I brought 2 new pair's of pumps. Texting these two in a group text to meet at mighty wings I made my way. Being out of school feels good even though it's only been a year so far, I need to start looking for work. I still model and do pageants, but it's not a everyday thing. Spotting my lovelies I make my way over.

"Ok bag swap girlies!" Danielle yells. I see she got some new jeans and shirts. And Damian has a wallet and belts. We return the bags and order. I love theses two, and wouldn't trade them. After we finished our lunch, we looked around some more and started walking back to my car. "Kam, Kam, Kami.!"

I hear my name being yelled, I turn around and see my ex, Kote (Cody). Our relationship was sweet, and simple. But he wanted a little bit more commitment, in other words sex. Not happening. "Hey Kote, what's up." Trying to be nice I hug him. "I seen you walking out, wanted to see what you were up to." He stated eyeing Damian. Thoes two never got along, Damian said I was too good for Kote, I believed him when Kote started asking for sex. "I'm good, living, looking for a job. Modeling isn't full time." "Cool, well hit me up sometime." With that he walked away, weird.

Ignoring it, I made my way to my car and put the bags in the trunk. Danielle was texting but took a glimpse at me, silently asking what that was about. I shrugged and turned down the road.
