To hold on to what you had,
To cherish the memory of what was given.
But there is a difference in the memory and the remembering.
A small line that draws them apart.
A small vessel and a tragic work of art.
Memories to be pushed back to be hidden away.
Remembering is to relive the feeling you had that day.
When your heart died.
The moment he left.
The second you ponder about a loved ones death.
The smell of the coffee,
The feel of the breeze.
The pureness in a childs voice.
The moment you will regret forever.
But the memories may seem off,
Or may be good.
Keep them safe and sound like one should.
Hold your heart out,
Or build a wall.
The remembering is what causes the fall.
