Chapter One

Sara's POV

Sara looked back through the large glossy window at her home planet, boy was she going to miss Earth. She was excited to visit the new native places, but she would miss her family. Laurel had probably already started writing her letters. Sara didn't really know how mail-postage would work across planets, but she tried not to think into it too much.

Sara walked across the observation room over to a long coffee table and out at the sea of stars. Just as she was getting lost into her mind, she got interrupted. A little hand tapped her shoulder and she turned to find a little boy who seemed to be around 7 or 8. He had creamy brown skin and dark black hair, and his eyes were little chocolate chips. The boy pointed to a huge puzzle that was on the table and looked at Sara expectantly. Sara smiled, and the boy and her slowly finished the puzzle, revealing a large parrot in a jungle. The little boy smiled a thanks and went over to who Sara assumed to be her parents.

She stood up and walked over to the large doors to explore the rest of this ship, she was going to be here for a few more hours so she mind as well get to know the place a bit.

The large doors let out a big whoosh as she stepped through them. Sara wandered down the hall, her high heels clacking against the floor to the ship. Suddenly as she turned a corner she bumped into something. "Ow!" she heard someone say, but it wasn't herself, Ok, bumped into someone, Sara thought. She backed up to see a gorgeous woman, she was wearing a pantsuit and her hair was in a tight bun, and she had the prettiest blue-green eyes. "Well, hello there", Sara said seductively and gave her classic side smirk, something about this girl was just shooting her gay-dar out of the sky. The woman cleared her throat and simply stated "I have to be going", and hurriedly walked away. Strange, Sara thought.

Sara spent the rest of the ride in the dining room, eating donuts with a woman she met who called herself Zari.

Hello all! Sorry, it was an extremely short chapter, but I decided to start with a short one and work up to having longer chapters.
