chapter 2 : A Piece of Straw

It was night and shah couldn't catch the deer. He have lost his soldiers and didn't have anything to eat or drink. He was disappointed and didn't know what to do. He just sat under a tree and was just looking to the big mountains in front of him. Mountains looked like giant animals and king looked like a wasp in front of them. It was the first time he felt himself so small and weak.
Suddenly he saw a weak light near to some trees. " is there some people? Maybe they are bandits. There should be some one who can help me; ...... or kill me. Any way if i stay here i will die." He said to himself.
He decided to go ahead and spend night there. Before going there he toke of his jewels and his royal silky cloths in order to be un known. He hide them under a stone.When he reached, there was a pretty old man and his wife, and also thier young daughter who was skinning out a rabbit. Maybe they were just some hunters. Or maybe they were just nomads. When the old man saw the king which of course they didn't know he was king cause of his disguised cloths, the old man stood up and came near to him. They were looking very strange. Maybe they felt danger. The old man said," who are you?" In some angry or frightened tone. "Are you a hunter?". King didn't know what to say. The girl left her rabbit and stood up," he might be a hunter who lost his way." The king said. " yes, yes i lost my way. I was tracking a deer but i lost my way and other hunters didn't find me." The king continued by a bit anxious tone," can i spend night here with you?" The old man smiled and said," don't worry son. Guest is friend of God, having guest is proud to nomads. Many hunters loss there way here. Be with us tonight."
" thank you!" Said the thirsty Raj," can you give me some water please?"
The young lady toke a bowl and moved toward a spring near thier tent. The thirsty king was tracking the girl by his eyes. He saw the girl filled the bowl with water but in return she paused and sit, then she stood up again and came to the king. He was thinking that why she paused." What ever" he said to himself," nevermind about this nomad girl. Maybe something felt down and she just sat to take it back..." but when she arrived and gave the bowl to the man, he saw a piece of straw in the water. The king wanted to drink the water as fast as he could but the straw was disturbing him. It was annoying. He thought," i will kill this rude girl. How dare she disturbed me. Just wait until my soldiers find me then i will skin you out like the rabbit!"
The unknown king passed the night with the nomad family. The old man was telling boaring stories to him the whole night and the king had no choice but to wait and bear him.
Early in the morning, soldiers found their king. Yes, and it was the time to punish the rude lady. Rex ordered the soldiers to surround the tent and capture the old man and his wife, and of course thier young rude daughter. The old man who have been arrested by soldiers with his wife and daughter just start begging to the king for mercy." At least your majesty, tell us what is our mistake?" Said the old man in a horrified tone. Shah Abbas walked to the girl paying no attention to her father begging for his life. He knelt in front of the lady and said," before killing you, just answer my question. Why did you put the piece of straw in water? Why did you want to disturb me ? .."
The girl answered in a rude way," you are going to kill me. So what is the benefit to know that. Just kill me."
" such a rude girl you are." Said the king in an angry voice," if you answer me, i just kill you. But if you dont, i kill your parents as well. This is your choice."
After some minutes that all were silent, the lady begun talking," last night i realized that you were very thirsty. It was hours that you were tracking the deer and you haven't drunk a drip of water. If you have drunk the cold water rapidly, i could kill you. I saved you from you."
The Raja was very impressed by the answer. " such a merciful soul she has. She didn't know that i was king and saved my life" the king thought. He felt ashamed of himself.
He ordered his soldiers to bring his royal cloths and jewel which he hide under the stone. As a gift he gave them to the nomad family.
It was the time to go back to his capital.
