Blue Fire Wolf (Shinra x Reader)

Shinra and I were on our way to the train but Shinra bumped to a girl.

"My bad! Are you Hurt?" he said with concern. I was just beside him looking at the scene and I saw him smile. The girl yelped and she ran away. Shinra let out an 'ah... no..'.

An old man said, "you really got off on that didn't you?", Shinra said "That's not how it is-" I cut him off saying "It's normal for him to smile it isn't his fault that his muscles tenses, C'mon shark boy we're going to be late for our train".

I grabbed his hand and went to the train station. When we arrived, I let go of his hand waiting for the train. "(...)-Chan, you didn't have to save me back there" He said while looking up ahead. I looked at him and said, "Be happy that I'm your best friend without me, you would be alone right now".

He said "typical (...)" and sighed. An alarm started to ring and a security guard announced that there was a fire.

I asked, "do you think that was made by an infernal?" and he answered "maybe".

People started running and the security guard told the people to stay calm. I looked ahead and saw one cart with fire. 'yup..It's an infernal' You thought. "if your planning to save the day, make sure to remove your shoes so you won't waste your money, hero" I said, he gave me an 'I know, I'm not a 5 year old' as an answer. I just shook my head and continued to look up ahead.

People from the burning cart escaped and went by us. People also said from the cart that it was a flaming person. 'It's infernal' I thought and the security guard yelled 'Please calm down' for a million times already.

the Inferno started to come out and Shinra started to smile. I went through my bag and threw an automatic fire extinguisher at the infernal and out came the foam.

Shinra asked if I was crazy and I just shrugged. Shinra crouched and started removing his shoes but cut by some fire shoulders. I just looked at them and it was our company. I just tapped Shinra and pointed at them. The captain moved us away and the company commander noticed us. 

But the captain called him and prepared for battle. The captain asked the sister to start the prayer and the sister just answer with a 'yes'. The sister started saying the prayer and the company commander sent out an extinguishing gun thing to the infernal.

The captain charged for the infernal and killed it. The sister finished the prayer and said 'latom'.

Shinra was amazed and I just saw the light thing started to fall. I also saw Shinra notice it and when it started to fall.

I immediately turned on my pyrokinetic and sent my tail to catch the light while Shinra grabbed the sister. When the sister was safe, I put the light thing down and went to Shinra.

The captain was shocked by our pyrokinetic. "are you hurt sister?" we both said in unison. She answered "No! I'm Fine".

I looked at Shinra and saw that his shoes were gone. I said "I warned you" and the sister said "sorry". Shinra disagreed and he blamed me for not warning me.

I flicked his forehead and said, "I did warn you, idiot". He was brushing his forehead and the company commander went up to us.

"you're..." he said. Shinra started saying his introduction. The company commander looked at me and asked "And you are?".

"I was also assigned to the 8th special fire brigade, Second and Third Generation Fire Officer, (...) (Last)" I said while turning off my pyrokinetic.

🕒Time Skip🕒

We were right in front of the company building and Shinra started saying about the place that looks like a dump.

The company commander appeared in front of the place and welcomed us in. We went inside and started walking.

"Not much to look at, eh?" The Company Commander blurted out. I put my hand on my mouth to stop laughing and Shinra answered "uhh..no".

I nudged my shoulder at him and whispered: "busted". "Stop bickering," The Company Commander said and we both said "yes!" in unison.

🕒Time skip🕒

We went in wearing our uniform and I said: "Excuse me".

"ah, There you guys are," The captain said. "I'm the battalion commander of the 8th special fire brigade, Akitaru Obi" he adds. The Company Commander said, "It's okay to interrupt your training when you're greeting someone.." and Akiteru answered, "you don't say...". The company commander said "Takehisa Hinawame, The company commander of this shabby 8th brigade".

I just shook my head and Shinra said a simple 'uhh'. Akiteru jumped out of his exercise thing and looked at our documents. "(...), are you wearing contact lenses for your right eye?" He asked I answered with a 'yes'. Akiteru nodded and asked, "do you mind removing it?". I nodded but Shinra put his hand on my shoulder and asked if it was ok. I smiled and nodded. He removed his hand and I grabbed my container. I put my one contact lenses on the container and looked at Captain Obi.

"Woah! You do have heterochromia eyes, cool" Akiteru said and looked at Shinra's document next. Akiteru asked "Shinra, your resume picture... what's with that smile?", Shinra salutes and answers "Ah! My apologies! When I'm nervous and tense up, I can't help but have that goofy grin". Akiteru just 'huh' and Shinra continued "Ah...hmm when I get anxious I smile, It's my face!".

Akiteru said "Oh I think I get it" then went up close to Shinra. I giggled and Shinra started sweating a bit. He looked at me and mouthed 'help'. I mouthed back 'just smile' and he did it.

Akiteru started laughing and I just chuckled. Akiteru apologized and said he was the 'cutest thing' that he saw. "I bet that smarmy smirks caused a few misunderstandings on more than one occasion, right?".

Shinra answered "Yeah! I'm not trying to be condescending or anything!" and the captain just laughed again. 

"So (...), Shinra. Your reason for joining the brigade?" Akiteru asked. Shinra started and I was just beside him, listening. he finished and I put both my hands at my back. 

"I wanted to be like my grandfather, sir," I said. Akiteru said "So that's why the last name was familiar, Akio (Last), captain of the 1st brigade" then, Shinra hold both of your shoulders and started shaking you. "you didn't tell me that your old man was a captain!" He shouted at you and You shouted back "I told you the other day and you just shrugged it off, so stop shaking me!".

He stopped shaking me and they just talking about hero stuff. Moments later, two girls arrive.

"Thanks again for saving me back there, you two," The sister said. "That's just what a hero/ fire soldier does," We both said in unison. The other girl was talking about 'destiny' and the sister chops the forehead of the other girl.

"Sister... Dear Iris, Violence is a big no-no" The other girl said. 'so the name of the sister is Iris' I thought. The other girl approached Shinra and asked if the pants fit. 

"huh? yeah.." Shinra answered. Then, Captain but in saying "Maki, Tailored the legs to account for your ability, Shinra". Shinra said in awe "So that's it! I appreciate that!".

Then, the two girls were crowding Shinra and I didn't know if I was invisible or are they just ignoring me. Then, the meeting started with the deaths of people being tackled about and the phenomenon these days. I was not listening much because I was bored.

🕒Time Skip at night time🕒

I was just writing in my journal and started worrying about your parents. I looked at my pocket watch from Yuki and I was almost done, but the fire alarm cut my writing off started to ring. Maki barged in my room saying that someone turned infernal and I have 30 seconds to prepare. I stood up from my desk, grabbed my pocket watch, put it in my pocket, and ran to the locker room. I dressed up quickly as I can and went to the matchbox.

'Grandpa, please guide me into this mission' I thought.
