Chapter 1: oh sh*t

Maddy's pov

"Let's just go,it's been long since we had fun"Lenny tried to convince me. She insisted on going to club because she feels that I'm too caught up with my work. She's not wrong tho

"I'm sorry Lenny,I've to go to work tomorrow"I apologized. I couldn't go to club and risk getting drunk,I could loose my job,and my brother is psycho,if Lenny and i comes back drunk,he could break our legs

"You are no fun,okay let's watch a movie"she insisted. Why does she always try to get me to do something,I mean I need sleep,it's not easy walking up and down serving people and apologizing. I can't even remember the last time I took a break

"Just 30 minutes,it's almost 6,I need to prepare lunch for your glutton boyfriend"I joked. "Hey"she punched my shoulder"he's not a glutton,he's a growing boy"

I chuckled"yeah yeah,at 26 right?,what movie do you want to watch"

"Riverdale or the Residents"she said. I rolled my eyes"they are too long,just choose a movie" I know Lenny, once she starts watching an episode movie, she ends up sleeping in my room overnight.

"Like I said,you are no fun, infact you hate fun,let's just watch a Christmas prince"she smiled

"It's summer not Christmas"I said widening my eyes.

"I'm not asking for your permission anymore,I would choose any movie and you have to watch it with me"she responded. I can't blame her,I'm honestly not in the mood to watch a movie.

"Fine"I crossed my hands and rested my back on the sofa. I don't really have a choice anyways. she switched on the TV and started searching for who knows which movie

We heard the door opened and then footsteps"he's home"I muttered under my breath

"Lin,I'm home"he walked towards us, finally revealing his face. "And here we go again"I slapped my forehead, they would start their love stuffs

"Jake"lenny said as she dropped the remote and went to hug her sweet boyfriend,that's what she calls him.

"My love"he carried her as she jumped on his arms and they kissed
"Seriously guys,can't you do it in your room"I sighed

"Call your boyfriend " Lenny laughed

"Don't call him,I don't trust that guy. He gives me a weird vibe"Jake started." You are just being over dramatic love,I think he's a great guy,but not as great as you of course"Lenny blushed

Honestly I get jealous of their relationship at times,me and Nick are never like this,yes we do kiss but not as playful and free like this. I love them both, they make me have hope that I would find true love one day. "Jake stop acting like I'm going to marry him, he's a good guy,but he doesn't really know how to handle relationship,and I'm also caught up with work" I replied Jake

"Whatever, just don't sleep with him,I mean never ever,I would shave your head and make you wear white garments throughout your life"

He was not joking,he could really do it" oh please,I told you already,I won't lose my virginity to him, beside you know I want to wait till I get married"

"Really Maddy?,you have started your marriage policy again, girl just have some fun, do what you like, sleep with tons of guys" Jake and I glared at her and she stopped talking "okay, sorry I was just joking" she laughed.

"Baby,give me a kiss"Jake told Lenny as he leaned forward and they started kissing. I rolled my eyes" guys I'm going to bed" I picked up my phone and headed to my room. I don't think they even heard me,they are distracted with sucking each other throat. I sighed and laid on my bed

I heard my phone ring ,it was Nick, I smiled and sat up.

"Hey girl"
"Hey Nick what's up!?"

"I just decided to check on you??,and ask you if you want to hang out tomorrow??"

"I can't,I have to work, maybe on Saturday, what do you think!?"

"Well,that's okay,see you in two days"he ended the call

I really feel sorry for Nick,he's a good guy, we have been dating for a year now,but I tried my best,I really did,it's just that I don't feel as much love as I did for him when we first met,he was so nice but now he seemed distant,I was so crazy about him when we first met,but nowadays I really doubt our relationship.

I check my alarm to make sure it's set at 7, and the I don't know when I blacked out

Ding!!!ding!!!ding!!!

"Ugh!!!"I yelled as I stood up angrily, and switched the alarm. My head was banging,as I stood up and went to have my bath

When I was done,I wore my dress and shoe and headed for Jake's room. I knocked twice but I got no reply

I sighed and went downstairs to make breakfast for him and Lenny, because Lenny's bag and shoes were still here laying where she left, so it means that she's in his room.

I made pancakes and kept a note saying they should eat it when they wake up. I pasted the note on the fridge and I left.

I took a taxi and got to work at exactly 8 o'clock
"Good morning sir"I greeted my boss who was scrambling some papers

"No time for good morning,go and serve table 4"he ordered as he left me, looking confused. I sighed,I was used to this,I quickly dropped my bag and took my apron in the kitchen and started my work.

It was already 11 and it was time for my lunch break"hey Maddy" Emily greeted. She was really nice and friendly,she was also working here but she received more pay,I think boss likes her. Just saying, but she has also been working here before I even knew this place. We talked and ate together,we were also close but not too close, like lenny

Lunch was finally over and my grey haired boss started ranting and ordering us around, my feets were starting to hurt and my head was pounding. I don't know what happened but my body was really tired and I'm getting a little dizzy. I shaked it off and continued work

"Madine,go and serve the VIP now's"he ordered "Madeline sir"I corrected, I've always told him my name was Madeline but he kept calling me madine,I don't even understand why he hates me,I mean I never do anything wrong,I've been working here for a year and the half,the pay is not that good,but I don't have a choice. I'm still young but I don't have the luxury of working in a big company so I just manage my work

"What are you thinking about,go now"he glared at me. What's his problem??? "Sorry sir"I said as I grabbed the tray with Rabbit food,I mean vegetables and salad. I headed towards the VIP room and served the old men there.

I exited the room and continued my job,the my boss came again"Madine go serve table 9 in the VIP room, hurry up" seriously can't you ask someone else, I sighed and grabbed the steak and orange juice and headed towards the VIP room. I don't know why but I get this strange feeling that something bad was going to happen.

I put on a smile and headed for table 9,I walked slowly and I started feeling dizzy. Everything was becoming blur. I tried my best to drop the steak on the table ,I carried the juice and wanted to put it on the table too,but I couldn't see the table. My hands slipped and I heard a shout

I quickly rubbed my eyes, closed it and took a deep breath . When i opened it everything was clearer and I looked down and saw an angree face staring at me. Then I realized what I had done. I spilled juicy all over his body

Oh sh*t!!
