The feel of Thunder benea me is comforting, but the sound of a thousand more horses surrounding us chills me deeper than the wind and rain. As they close in on us, I can hear their evil laughter. Something jumps up in front of us and Thunder rears. I manage to grab hold of his mane and stay on. But then, a hand grabs me from behind and pulls me off of his back, throwing me to the ground. The wind gets knocked out of me as I hit the cold earth. Thunder stops and turns back to me. I grab his mane and swing into his back. I glance at my right wrist and immediately know  its broken. My head is bleeding badly and I can tell i have broken some ribs. The pain is overwhelming and it is getting hard to breathe. My vision is getting blurry and I can feel myself slipping away.
