Sonnet - The Courteous but Barbaric Mankind
Ah! Pineapple! Oh courteous mankind
Thou art saccharine and kind
May the Supreme blesseth thee
Oh! Fear not, I shalt eat and fleeRipe and fresh! So flavoursome
Oh my baby! Do you want some?
Ah! Thank you human, for the fruit
My my! Why do I feel pain so acute?Oh my baby! Is it thee?
It's probably you, thirsty maybe?
Ow! The pain - Is that my teeth?
Oh my baby! Can thou breathe?Ow! Oh my baby! It's the barbaric human life!
There they art, rejoicing our departure from life!That's the definition of humane. Don't you think the word human is the root word of humane?
It takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal.
What have we come to?
Let's not forget that we've been given brains to contemplate. Let's utilise it.
Let's think before we act. Let's be compassionate. Let's be humane.
