I ended up staying a few more hours at Michelle's house, before I went back to mine. There, I was greeted by a over excited Nikki.
She told me she had another date tonight, with that guy from Dylan's party. Oh and speaking of Dylan, that reminds me of the new plan Michelle and I came up with. It was not new, but it wasn't the same one. Basically it evolved being more careful about my true identity. I sort of felt like an undercover spy on a mission. I laughed at the thought.
I helped Nikki get ready for her date. When she left it was only me in the house. I walked up to my room and heard my phone go off. I grabbed it and laid down on my bed. I looked a my phone that read a number I didn't recognize. I opened it.
To Nicole- Open your front door--
Okay after reading that I was a little scared. Slowly I climbed down the stairs, mystified at who was out the door. I opened it to reveal a hot looking Ryan. Wow how did he know where I lived?
“Hey Ryan....”
“Hey Nicole” he said in a very tempting and seductive voice.
“What are you doing here” I asked.
“I am here to see you of course”
“Why”?
“Because your beautiful”.
Wow was this guy high?
“How did you know where I lived”?
He didn't answer me, instead he leaned in and kissed me. His kiss didn't feel like Dylan's. It just felt like something warm was pressed against my lips. But I didn't push away. I let him kiss me, since I could smell the alcohol on his breath. After a few seconds I told him to get off of me. But no matter how much I protested he didn't budge.
His hand started to travel down to my ass. He let out a moan as I tried squirming. I was becoming scared. When he pushed me up against the wall I let out a scream. He kept touching me and eventually I was down, on the couch. Tears ran down my face. But before he could do anything else, he was yanked off of me.
I tried looking up at what happened but my eyes were too blurry. I heard punching, and clashing of glass. I let out a scream. Moments later the noise stopped and strong arms wrapped around me. I tried screaming again, but was hushed by someone. I looked up to see who it was. Dylan. I turned my head into his chest and cried into him. He had saved me from getting raped by Ryan. Wait! Where was Ryan? My grip on Dylan tightened. How had he found me? Suddenly his arms were being retracted and I felt cold and vulnerable.
“Come back” I managed to cough out.
“Ill be right back” he said in a stern face. I wiped my eyes so I could see what was going on. Dylan was picking up Ryan and caring him outside. My house door closed and I ran to lock it. Even if Dylan did come back, I felt safer with the door locked. After waiting 15 minutes I gave up on Dylan and went up to my room to take a shower.
When I got out I heard a knock at the door. Dejavu' hit me, but then I remembered Dylan. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. Dylan embraced me into a big bear hug. I melted into his arms. It felt so right to be with him. I hugged him with the same force. I cried again, into him. He carried me to the couch where he laid me down and put a pillow under my head. I didn't realize how tired I was until I laid down. He found a throw blanket and covered me.
I was about to tell him not to leave, when he lifted my legs and sat down. He placed my legs on his lap and closed him eyes as he reclined.
“Thank you” was all I said before sleep consumed me.
