Marrissa's P.O.V
"No I don't love him." I shouted at myself whilst I sat on my bedroom floor. "I won't allow myself to love him. He doesn't care anyways." I huffed in frustration. I grabbed the bottle of Jack Daniels and took a big drink from it. "I won't." I stated again.
"Maybe you do." I looked at the door and Nicole stood there with the girl from the bar and a little girl around four. "I don't." I said back to her. "Well I was hoping you would be sober and decent when I brought these two over to meet you but I can't always get what I want. Marrissa, this is Kc and her daughter Sierra. Guys this is my not so sober best friend Marrissa. You have to excuse her; she's going through love whiplash." Kc handed Sierra to Nicole and sat down next to me. "I know the feeling." She said with a small smile. She looked back at Nicole and mouthed something to her. Nicole nodded and left the room with Sierra.
"I went through the same thing with my best friend. I was in love with him for years and he never wanted me but when I started dating his band mate and best friend; he seemed to suddenly want me. I was stupid and I cheated on my boyfriend who loved me very much and I regret it to this day. Listen to your heart. Trying to drink away the feelings won't help anything. It just makes everything worse. You'll end up doing things like: calling him when you're hammered or telling yourself you don't need him which results in you sleeping with people you shouldn't. Just do what you think you will best support you and your life." I smiled and she took the bottle from my hand.
"Thank you Kc. You'll make Nicole very happy." I said.
"I hope too. My daughter really likes her, which is surprising. She usually hates anyone I bring home." I laughed and wiped my face. "I should go back to them but make sure you do what your heat wants. You won't regret a thing." She said walking to the door. "Nicole likes strip parties, just warning you." I yelled and Kc turned back to me. "Oh I know." She said laughing.
