I contemplated the day as I walked home. Why would Odessa wonder if I was a friends of Danny's? What does he even see in her? I looked up and noticed that the sunny day had turned cloudy. Wonderful,The atmospheric gods are feeling my pain. I turned into my driveway and trudged up the steps to the front door. However before I could even open it the door flew open and my 4 year old brother Jamie talked me. "Woah! Dont push me off the steps!" I laughed. Jamie just grinned up at me and tried to pull me into the house. " Come see what me and mommy made!" He squealed. He ran quickly into the house leaving me to pick up the books that had fallen out of my bag. When I stood back up I saw no other than Odessa driving past. Seeing me she waved, I gave a limp wave back and watched as she picked up her phone and continued to drive past. Rolling my eyes I turned into the darkness of the house.
~ ODESSA ~
" Now hold up a second. You said that his house was on Samash Street. - " I stopped speaking momentarily as my sister spoke on the other end of the phone. " No,no,no Jesus, Luca's house is on 3201 Anthrax Parkway " She quickly corrected.
"What kind of name is Anthrax?"
"What?"
"Nevermind I'm almost there. "
"Good"
I paused at a stop sign and looked for the name of the street. Dang, this place is like a maze.
"Odessa?" I blinked. I thought I hung up with her...
"Yes my darling sister?"
"Are you here yet?"
My sigh was audible. "look outside,do you see me?"
"Um, no"
"Then nope I'm not there yet." I chuckled.
"Whatever" was my sisters curt reply. Then she hung up the phone. I gasped, she didnt even say goodbye. She must pay...
