The following is a Lexicon detailing a lot of what would be considered common knowledge in this book. They will all be explained in the story, but you can also choose to familiarize yourself with some of these concepts before diving in. Those familiar with chinese wuxia and xianxia novels will find all these extremely familiar.

We finally made enough money to buy the tools to make an original map! Thank you GUYS!!! Lol... Finally, a map I can officially show without worrying about an impending lawsuit.

Cultivation Ranks

This novel follows the popular Wuxia cultivation methods with a few twists. In Wuxia humans grow stronger by climbing stages within larger ranks. Each rank usually marks a great threshold that separates them from the previous ranks... To put it in mainstream media terms, think of ranks as transformations in Dragon Ball Saiyans. Base to SS1- SS2- SS3 - SSG

Human Soul Cultivation Ranks:

In this novel, soul trainers have 7 Ranks, which are further divided into nine gates...

The ranks are as follows from lowest to Highest.

Soul Apprentice -> Soul Student -> Soul Soldier -> Soul Master -> Soul King -> Soul Ruler -> Soul Emperor

Three gates make up a soul space, meaning a soul trainer could store three soul pets per rank. However, they can only summon one per rank. This means that Soul trainers could have a total maximum of 21 pets, and summon a maximum of 7.

Soul Monster Cultivation.

Soul Monster Cultivation are much trickier than trainers. First, Monsters grow in Phases and Stages. Like humans, Phases are large ranks with 9 stages in between. There are ten phases, and the process of going from a lower phase to a higher one is known as Evolution.

Evolution is not the only way Soul Monsters grow, however. Aside from their phases, Soul Monsters also have species ranks, which heavily influence how powerful they are as they grow. Monster ranks, from the smallest to the lowest, are as follows,

Servant, Warrior, General, Monarch, Emperor, Legendary, and Mythic.

Soul Monsters, through a process known as strengthening, can break past the limitation of their species into a higher rank. Most trainers try to boost their soul monster's ranks over the course of their evolutions.

Aside from Strengthening and Evolution, there is one more method through which a monster could grow could Mutation. Mutation involves stimulating the genes in a soul monster so it transforms into a different, higher specie from the same family. Mutations are exceedingly rare, but they usually bring with them immense power.

It is rumored that in the distant past, mutations were abundant and plentiful, but somehow, the methods were lost in the fickle sands of time.

More will be added to this Lexicon as the book goes on... Enjoy the Story!
