**For context the MC will always be talking in bold**

It's  barely visible outside.. Rain beating down as I've never seen before. it seems like the wipers aren't even doing what they're supposed to. tsk. 5 more minutes till I get to her school. honestly, why the sudden is her school doing "night" classes.. it's not like she already isn't the smartest kid in her grade, I guess she's just trying to catch up to me, idk why though.

*5 minutes later door opens*

??? POV

"OPPA OPEN THE DOOR!" puts me out of my thoughts as I snap back to reality realizing i had forgotten to leave to car unlocked so Wonyoung can just hop in without having to wait. Immediately I rush to open it for her and then comes in a soaking wet giant whom i have the privilege of calling my younger sister. next thing you know, as I start the car and proceed to head to a convenience store, wet locks of hair start slapping me across the face.

"YAH, YOU WERE LEAVE THE DOOR UNLOCKED!"

Ah.. I'm sorry sis. I was just in my thoughts that's all

"haha it's okay! I was just teasing but you do owe food fo--- wait hold up."

yeah?

"Oppa you never speak English unless it was serious. what's wrong?"

Mianhe.. I jus--

"is it that case again? Oppa it's been 5 years. I was barely 10. it's not your fault that nobody listened to a rookie FBI agent, and that those cops didn't believe in the whole psychomumbojumbo much less did they listen to your team."

It's psychological profiling but yeah. it's that case again. I keep thinking about it.

"oh yeah..well do you know what i think?"

mmm?

"ever since you took me in, you've raised me as your own sister. Teaching me how to protect myself and how to do good in school, and honestly? growing up with you has made dealing with the loss of mom and dad much much easier."

I know. but if I got there just one more second quicker than I did. They'd still be alive

"But you caught him, and that's what matters Oppa. I never blamed you for being too late, if anything I was grateful that he was so sick in the head he wasn't interested in children. Also, they assigned you a hard case as a rookie, but still... I'm glad it was you. Otherwise, I might be bouncing around from home to home if not for you giving me a home"

You should practice your English more.

"what do you think I've been doing this whole drive?..OUH THE STORE! YOU'RE PAYING FOR EVERYTHING!"

as she's about to grab the door handle I grab her left hand.

Wonyoung. and with an eyebrow raised she turns around, you could tell this girl was so excited for food because of how impatient her body language was getting.

"BRO THE STORE! WH--"

Gamsahabnida. as soon as she heard that, she calmed down, let go of the door, and looked at me with a now concerned but happy face.

"Anieyo oppa." and just like that, it was as if the wind dashed through my car. Also, I noticed that my wallet was gone. shit. this girl has the sneakiest hands I've ever seen.

as I watched the store clerk in awe at the sight of Wonyoung the tornado ripping through his store. my phone rings with a number I haven't seen since my days at the Behavioral Analysis Unit at the FBI.

"Good Evening, this is SSA(Supervisory Special Agent) Aaron Hotchner, am I speaking with Agent John Lee?"

Sir. it's just John now, I quit remember?

"Yes, we all remember john. I don't understand even after all this time, you were at the top of your class at the academy and when you got assigned to us you led the BAU to many arrests in your first alone as a rookie! Why that case? why that girl? what was so special about that day that it made you throw away your career?"

THAT GIRL sir, needed a figure in her life. she had nobody. That's why as soon as she finished middle school in DC. I moved with her back to Korea, so she can grow up to be a normal person. She needed me Aaron, you can't just treat her like the case isn't still open. Because of her not only did I end up having pretty much the younger sister I never had, I was able to learn Korean, and not just conversational mind you, I'm great at it and it has helped me move on and have a better life. you have no idea how it's been for us.

"Actually, I know that tone of yours still gives off the feeling that you are still trying to prove yourself. I also know your routine, at this time of night you're either usually in bed or at least at a comfortable area in your house. but because of how loud I hear the rain pouring in the background, I'm assuming you are in your car. I also know you don't frequent nightspots, nor do you waste gas driving around for no reason. Here's another thing, you'd also probably never leave Wonyoung by herself at the house this late. Assuming she takes after her brother, I'm guessing...late-night snack runs after school?"

How did y-

"wait, Night school. because I know you wouldn't wait nor stay up this late if you didn't have to."

Ok. Fine. What is so important that you're calling me? You know I am not moving back much less Re-joining the unit. I don't even have my badge anymore.

"Actually, about that, we don't need you to move back or even re-join the Bureau here"

Well good, because there's no rea---- here? HERE? WAIT WHAT? Hotch. Tell me I'm not thinking what I know I'm thinking.

"If what you are thinking is that the South Korean Government has asked the US in establishing their own version of the Behavioral Analysis Unit, then yes. Then yes, that's exactly what you are thinking".

But what do you need from me?

"We want you to be the SAIC(Special agent in charge). You get your own building, your own team, and this time, you get the final say in the cases brought through by your own liaison and communications agent. Listen, if anything do this for her. She'll get a 24/7 protective detail, private schooling, and any person she talks to gets vetted the second they exist on our radar"

I'll do it. But I want some changes

"Name 'em"

Her protective detail stays in every classroom, have them at least be younger guards so she isn't threatened by them and so that they can blend in easily. I don't want her to feel like she's caged in so they need to give her room, she can defend herself better than anyone could think so basically, they are to be present just as a precaution. nothing more. And her school? Yeah, she's to get the best. You give me that? and whatever catch that I know comes with this offer won't bother me.

"Are you ready to hear it then?"

Hit me.

"so, there's 10 agents and one intern about a year older than Wonyoung and before you say anything, I honestly have no idea and I mean NO IDEA how it's possible bu--"

Just tell me before I hang up.

"The only candidates who somehow passed the requirements to be part of this unit are..."

Are what Hotch?! I'm seriously about to hang up and change my number!

"Girls..."

fuck.
