Chapter 9: Broke

Kayano's an actress, she must known how to act that she's alright when the reality is not, she did it a lot of times on the roles she portrayed in the movies or series, she even received a lot of awards for being the best leading actress

But no one's really prepared when you experience love,

Kayano tried to smile but she can't do it, it's just her brain stopped functioning instead she looked down, having her bangs shadowing her face,

'Akari get a grip!' She said to herself gripping her dress on her lap

She didn't noticed that Nagisa was already beside the table when he called out on her

"Kayano?" He called out, concern was evident to his voice

Kayano by now muster up a smile and look up to them hoping that her smile was genuine enough for them not to notice

But even though Nagisa have the dense personality, he spotted the pain that is beneath Kayano's eyes and that her smile seemed forced and for a second, he wants to take her and leave everyone now

But he can't do that with Sara-san still has her arms wrapped against his

But knowingly how Kayano took all the courage to form that smile, he smiled back to her and sat next to her with Sara-san next to him

It was awkward to be honest and Karma and Okuda were speechless as to how their perfect plan was in an instant broke down

Karma internally sighed as he looked at the brunette who doesn't seemed to be bothered by anything at all but there is one thing Karma wants to know, that is whether the brunette was Nagisa's girlfriend or not

"Well, Nagisa just brought someone" Karma said smirking "I'm Karma, Nagisa's friend in middle school and you are?" Karma said offerring his hand for a shake

Sara-sensei smiled sweetly at him and took his hand, separating herself from wrapping her arms around Nagisa, "Miyazaki Sara but you can call me Sara, I'm Shiota-kun's co-teacher at school and his future girlfriend"

Karma looked at Nagisa 'What is she talking about kinda look'

Nagisa sweatdrop, "Uhm, Sara-san always jokes around like this, right Sara-san?"

"Shiota-kun, I'm serious." Sara said seriously at Nagisa

The sound of the chair being pushed back caught their attention, it was Kayano,

"I'm sorry mina, I gotta go, my assistant called me in, maybe next time, it's nice to know you already have a girlfriend Nagisa" Kayano said smiling lightly and took off without making eye contact with everyone

Karma and Okuda both called out to Kayano but she sped off without a word, they both look at each other and looked at Nagisa which is in mixed emotions, he was stuck whether to run to Kayano but he can't leave Sara-san

Kayano runs as fast as she can, tears flowing from her eyes without end, it hurted her more than anything, to think that she thought that Nagisa would finally look at her but that crashes when she saw with her two eyes Nagisa with another girl

Even though they're not officially together but the way Sara wrapped her arms around Nagisa really took it, she can't stand the way she flirted with him and that he was being really nice with her

Just like with everybody,

Kayano doesn't want to sound selfish but the only thing that she wants was Nagisa's full undivided attention and nothing more, she wants him to look at her only not as a friend or a bestfriend but as a lover
