The School

Chapter 2

We walk into the classroom right before the bell rings.
"Good Morning Alex, and freshman." Mrs. Kilkenny says. There's only 8 people in this class, huh. "Okay, so first day of school we have to say names and read the handbook. Let's start from over here just say your name." She was pointing at a girl, "Uhm, my name's Erin." She shrugs. "My name is Sam." A girl named Sam cool. "My name is Danny, they them pronouns please." What? Never heard of that. "Hey, my name's Tyler." He rolls his eyes. "Names Kate." She also rolls her, "Hi! My name's Aida."  She smiles, she's pretty, my turn I guess. "Hi, my name's Adrian." They all look at becausw they've never seen me before. "Heyo, it's me Alex! Again!" Again? Oh yeah he failed this class last year. Everyone laughed. Mrs Kilkenny was not happy, "This year I'm seats and your partners." Everyone groans while she's thinking.  She looks up from her desk, "Erin and Danny you are partner sit here. Sam and Tyler, your partners sit here. Kate and Alex you are partners, sit here. And, Adrian and Aida your partners sit here." We all have our partners now. Nice. Oh wait, I'm sitting next to a cute girl. Class goes by fast and boring, Mrs. Kilkenny is just reading the handbook, which mom already made Kelly and I read and memorize. The bell will ring in five minutes, she gives us free time until then. Aida looks at me, "So are you new here? I didn't see you last year." I shrug, "I was homeschooled." Her eyes brighten, "Cool! Can I have you number?" I shrug, "Sure." I give her my number. As she puts the paper in her pocket she goes, "What's your last name?" I reply, "Blake." The bell rings and I get up, "Yo Adrian. How was it?" His words kinda echoed in the now empty classroom, "Okay I guess, I'm gonna go to my second class. Bye. " I see Kelly in the hallway but I remember what she said about not talking to her. She looks at me and gives me a death glare and walks over to me. "Why did you tell people we were related?!" She whines. "They were gonna find out sometime." She rolls her eyes, "Whatever."
That school day goes by fast and lunch is already here. I met Kelly in the hallway, "Where do I sit?" She rolls her eyes, "Follow me, ok?" We get our lunches from the cafeteria and not many people are in the cafeteria. We walk to the strairs and up to eat on the roof. Lots of people here.

"Yo Adrian." I hear a familiar voice. Its Alex.
