It had been a week since Jeff and Jeffy moved into the neighborhood. Their time was mostly preoccupied with settling into their new home. They hadn't really been able to get to know the town, besides the little shop their family resided in helping them get the right materials.
School for the twins had arrived pretty fast, and let's just say Jeff wasn't all that excited.
.
"Excuse you, those are my color pencils." Jeffy hissed as she snatched the little box from Jeff.
"What. That's not fair, how do you know they're yours?"
"Because I got the sparkly ones!" Jeff huffed as she searched for the other pack.
"Did you take my crayons?"
"How am I supposed to know where they're at?" Jeffy shrugged as she ripped a pack of erasers open.
They were preparing their stuff for school. Although Jeff hated to admit it, she was pretty terrified of what was to come. Would she make friends? Who are these mysterious people her sister had been talking about?
How come she was only learning of them until now?
She had plenty of questions. Though she didn't want to seem dumb if she asked Jeffy. She'd just have to wait and see.
All worries being pushed aside, Jeff was determined to try to make friends. Breathing out a sigh, she felt something collide with her face.
"Found your crayons!"
This was going to be a tough year.

"Hurry up slowpoke, we don't want to be late." Jeff ushered her sister as she waited at the front door, door wide open for the neighborhood to see.
"I'm going, I'm going." Jeffy taunted back as she slipped her backpack on.
Jeff looked at the peaceful sky, clouds sprinkled all over the blue wave perfectly. It was pretty quiet in the morning, something she didn't mind. It was just that sometimes the quiet mixed with the eery mood from the neighbors made her get goosebumps.
She looked over at the house she had spotted that one boy in the other week. A light blue building with a tiny garden in the front. She remembered the teen having jet black hair and bright blue eyes. A creepy smile plastered on his face. As she mindlessly stared at the house, she thought she saw some slight movement at the window for a second.
"What you looking at?" Jeffy peered over her shoulder, startling the young girl into fumbling into her.
"Jesus, Jeffy." She held her hand to her heart, glaring daggers at Jeffy who now stood in front of her.
"Sorry." Jeffy skipped ahead, Jeff following in tow.
As the two girls walked to school, Jeff couldn't help but play bad things that could happen over her mind. They didn't live that close to the school, but they didn't want to embarrass themselves just in case they got on the wrong bus or just missed it. So they settled with walking.
.
Everything had gone pretty smoothly. They had picked up their schedules, luckily found their classes in time, and were now seated in their desks. The short introduction they had made to the class had been reinforced by the teachers, as usual. Though it didn't get to Jeff as much as she thought it would. She sat back listening to the attendance being marked.
"Sans DeVito?"
"Here"
"Serra Evans?"
"Here"
"Lenny Faice?"
No response. The teacher marked the student as absent, continuing the list from there.
Jeff scrunched her face, she felt an odd connection from that name. As if she knew who this person could be.
"Today we're going to be doing group work. The math shouldn't be hard, but since this is new material, I want you guys to try and work together," The teacher spoke, making Jeff panic for a second.
"You're free to choose your own group of five."
Great. Just great. Jeff thought, immediately turning to Jeffy.
"Who are we-" before Jeff could finish her sentence, Jeffy had dragged her to the other side of the room, a wide grin on her face.
"IZZY, ELIZA, HEATHER!" She squealed, low enough for them to not get in trouble.
