The score was 1-1, the crowd was roaring right in my ears, I could feel the rush of adrenaline flowing through me. We were in the 80th minute, with 10 minutes left, it was an unpredictable game. The ball went past midfield, then into the penalty area, and now HE had to go head to head with the goalkeeper. He shot, he missed, the crowd went wild! I got the ball and took the shot, GOOOOOAAAAALLL!!!!! At this point, I'm just about to become deaf from the crowd and overwhelmed with joy, when suddenly I wake up to the sound of Sergeant Perez, and groan at the realization that it's time for drills. Every morning, I wake up to his deafening yelling in my ear, with the same reluctant thoughts of why the hell I joined army. Push ups, sit ups, squats, you name the exercise and we do it. This place is worse than hell, the only thing keeping me going is that I'm doing this to help my country, I am a proud American soldier. Excuse me, for not properly introducing myself. I am Lieutenant General James Johnson of the United States Armed Forces and you may be thinking why a sergeant is yelling at a lieutenant general, but this is because he yells at everyone, and I do not want to be the one to stop him, that guy's crazy! Soccer is also a driving passion of mine that keeps me sane in this otherwise hell hole. Russia isn't exactly as nice a place as it used to be, I mean it's 2054, not 2014 or 15, it's a cold wasteland now. After the deal between North Korea and Russia to come together and crush America went south, North Korea nuked them, before anyone was the wiser and the entire country of Russia and billions of lives were gone in an instant. Troops from America were then immediately sent to hospitalize and help the survivors of the nuke and return Russia to its former glory. Sadly, it's been 40 years, and it's just escalated to even darker times. The only good thing here for me are my best friends and fellow comrades, CIA agent Stan Smith, FBI agent John Diggle and Special Ops and Seal Team 6 members Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne. These guys have seen it all with me and have been with me through the darkest times of my life and theirs. Any mission without them would be suicide. This is the team.
