-charlies POV-
I was just finishing my homework when my mom walked in dancing to some music she was blasting on her iPod i don't know why she was using an iPod those things were practically ancient by now. My mom took out her headphones and started talking,"hey charlie when your done with your homework can you take toby to the park?" I looked back at my mom than replied,"why can't you?" My mom rolled her eyes than replied,"i have to work tonight and teddy is coming home to visit and you know how toby gets if he doesn't get outside time."
"Yeah I know ill take him to the park don't worry." Once i finished my homework i walked upstairs to find toby and after almost a minute i heard a knock on the door i walked over and once i did i was delighted to see teddy. I started talking,"ahhh im so happy to see you" i said while hugging her. "I missed you so much charlie wow you have grown up so much" i smiled and than toby came running once he heard teddys voice and he immediately hugged her.
-fast forward 20 minutes-
Me and toby were now at the park and as he was on the playground i was just on my phone scrolling through instagram when i looked up i saw y/n sitting next to me i was slightly shocked but than started talking,"oh hi your y/n right? I have seen you around school my name is charlie"
"Oh hey i have seen you around school too and yeah im y/n nice to meet you" we both smiled.
-fast forward 1 hour-
Me and y/n have been talking for about an hour now and we were really connecting,"here this is my number my little brother wants to go home maybe call me sometime?" I smiled than grabbed Toby's hand and walked us home.
