A young woman is sitting in the woods on a dock. Her feet hang over the edge, lightly splashing in a small pond. Her golden hair hangs low on her back. Her eyes are closed as she rests back on her hands, her head lifted to the sky, enjoying the breeze on her face.
So lost in her moment she doesn't realize someone has walked up behind her. Weather she knows this young man or not is unclear, but she doesn't seem startled. Her bright blue eyes and his dark ones lock for a brief moment before she turns her attention back to the pond in front of her. The man's eyes never leave her. His dark eyes were swarming with different emotions: longing, pain, uncertainty. He stays frozen to his spot. His raven hair was the only thing moving, lightly being blown by the wind.
For what seems like a life time the man stands as a beautifully sculpted statue just watching the golden haired beauty. Eventually the sun begins to fade in the sky. The girl stands up, smiles at the man before walking away.
The man hesitates only a moment before a decision is made, now only certainty shows in his dark eyes. He runs after the girl and grabs her hand. She seems surprised but turns to face him. He engulfs her tiny frame in a hug, his massive body seems to swallow hers.
The woman peeks up at the man. The last rays of sunlight dancing against her skin. He pulls her face to his to kiss her passionately. No words were spoken as the sun finishes setting.

A month later the woman hasn't seen the man again. Her heart is broken. She can barely function. Her parents are beginning to worry. She's not eating or sleeping. A sickness seems to be taking over the girl. Even though the girl protests, her parents take her to a doctor. There her world breaks further as she finds out that she, as a child herself, is carrying a child.
Her parents repeatedly ask who the father is. She will not say. Her mother spends her days crying, her father immerses himself into his work and doesn't spend much time at home. Her parents fight about what to do whenever they are together. The girl falls farther and father away, as if her soul was giving up the will to live. As her baby and stomach grow bigger, the young woman grows sicker.
The only person the girl speaks to willingly is the child in her womb. She apologizes, and begs the baby for forgiveness. The young woman knows she isn't going to live much longer. She wished she could want to see her baby grow up, but her soul was broken and she knew she wouldn't be able to. She truthfully didn't want to fight to live, she just wanted her baby to live.
*************************************************
Months later a raven haired baby girl is born. The girl holds her newborn daughter in her thin arms and kisses her hair. The same color as the man she loves. The baby snuggles into her mother's chest. Monitors began to go crazy, the room erupts into chaos. The baby is handed to the girl's mother. Doctors work tirelessly to save the girl but in the end it was no use.
The girl had only made one request of her parents. She didn't want anyone to know that she had been pregnant and didn't want anyone to know that the baby belonged to her. The girl's parents assumed she didn't want the father of the baby to know, so they obliged against their better judgement. The girl's parents lost their daughter and gained one in the same day.
