I woke up to the smell of pancakes.
I was expecting my lower body to be aching but I was glad that it didn't. We have a long day planned for us and I can't afford to have any sorts of body ache.
Today, Edward can finally leave his cell, well, not technically leave because we are breaking him out.
"Babe, you feeling good? I have Tylenol if you need it," Ace made his way towards me when he realized I was already awake.
It looks like he had already taken a shower. He was wearing a black turtle neck with dark blue jeans. His hair was messy, it hasn't been combed yet and he was barefooted.
He sat by the side of the bed and gave me a peck on the forehead followed by a smile.
"Did I become better?" he asked, cheekily and I rolled my eyes.
"Nah, worse actually," I laughed and he pouted like a kid.
I finally got out of bed only to realize I was only wearing an oversized t-shirt, that belongs to him, and my undies. I made my way over to his side and sat on his leg, wrapping my arm around his neck, "I love you."
"I love you too. Now, hurry up and bathe, I ordered pancakes," he hugged me before breaking away.
As he had instructed, I made my way towards the bathroom and took a quick shower. I did my morning face routine before going out to take my clothes.
Ace's eyes immediately glinted when he saw me in my robes, "Mine."
He pointed at me and I gave him a fake smile before entering the shower room to wear my clothes. I wore a cream-colored top and high waisted dark jeans. I pulled up my hair in a ponytail despite the fact that it was still a little damp. I wore ringlets, earings, and our engagement ring.
I sat on the chair next to Ace when I got out. He placed a plate with two pancakes in front of me. I smiled like a kid before I started to chow down on it. I was happily munching when my eyes rested on his hand only to find that his ring was not there.
I pouted, "Where's your ring?"
"Here," he fidgeted under his turtle neck to bring out a necklace with a ring as its pendant.
"You like hiding it?" I asked. Ace stared at me as if he was trying to read my expression and then he laughed a little.
"No babe, I don't. I just forgot to place it out," he smiled. He gave me another peck on my forehead before he stood up and made his way to his luggage. He took out a file and headed back towards me. He placed it on the table.
"Alright, so here's the plan," he began.
