"Hoshiguma...."

"Oi~ Hoshiguma!"

"Ack! W-What. What's going on..?" Green haired oni awoken from her slumber. She turn her head to her right and see a blonde feline wearing a cap.

"S-Swire, what're you doing here at a time like this?" Hoshiguma asked

"I should be asking you that." Swire hissed

"..." Hoshiguma couldn't find any words in defense so she sigh in defeat.

"Is this about him again..?" Swire asked, putting a grin on her face while crossing her arms.

Hoshiguma flinches, couldn't look at her partner. She nodded in response

"..and you still have feelings for him?" Swire asked again.

Hoshiguma nodded.

"Look, I know how you feel. But you have to accept reality that he's-" before swire could finish her sentence, Hoshiguma slam her hand at the table, making her tail-fur rises up. Hoshiguma grit her teeth in anger

"Stop saying that!"

"Hoshiguma..."

"He's alive. I just know it!" and with that Hoshiguma scram away from her partner with tears rolling down her face.

"Hoshiguma, wait!" Swire chased her behind. Swire manage to catch up with hoshiguma and grab her hand on the way.

"Let go..." Hoshiguma whisper

"Don't act like this-"

"YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!" Hoshiguma screamed. Swire surprised by her sudden outburst and immediately let go.

"I just need some space..." Hoshiguma continue walks through the hallway. She didn't notice Ch'en walking towards her direction. Ch'en greeted her but she ignored her and continues walking. Ch'en called hoshiguma several times but she doesn't respond as she continues walking. She saw swire standing in the middle of the hallway, she walks over to her and asked what happened. Swire explained everything to Ch'en.

"I see..." Ch'en sighed, rubbing the back of her head. "Let's give her time alone,l for the time and being"

Swire doesn't have any choice but to agree with her.

Hoshiguma reached her quarters and sat on her bed. She gaze to her desk and saw a photo frame of herself and one other guy beside her. He has large antlers, white hair, and red eyes. She grab the photo frame and stares at it for minutes.

"I miss you... Elias"

"You're going overseas?" the female oni inquired

"Yep. My boss assigned me to victoria with one of his associates." The male sarkaz answered her question.

"For how long?" The female oni asked before sipping her bubble tea.

"Three weeks."

"Hmm..." She angrily pouts while drinking her bubble tea.

"Hey, don't give me that look! Three weeks gonna be past in a blink of an eye." Elias reassured her. But regardless, she's doubting what's gonna happen to him on the way to victoria. Eaten by kraken, sunken by the storm, or worse. Victoria is a long way

"I doubt you're not gonna get yourself killed." She teased with a blank look

"Oi, Oi! I'm not an idiot, okay!" He responded. "I know how to take care myself."
