Yesterday was their wedding, and last night was their first night together.

It was a typical arranged marriage. Neither of them had any problem with it. This was the first time they were alone with each other. Rishaan wanted to take things slow, so he asked her to sleep on the bed while he chose the couch for himself. Mahira was confused, not really understanding what "taking things slow" meant, but she let the thought go and fell asleep.

Meet Rishaan
A young and successful doctor. He is rich, kind, caring, extremely handsome, and has a heart full of love. All of his patients adore him, and they all happen to be children. He is a paediatrician who knows how to handle kids and takes excellent care of them. Most importantly, he genuinely loves children.

Meet Mahira
She is young, beautiful, innocent, cheerful, and full of life. Mahira is too pure to understand the harshness of the world. She has the heart of a child and a soul that shines. She completed her graduation in Computer Science and Engineering and now works in a multinational company.

Her family is very conservative. In their house, even thinking about a boy is considered sinful. It was a big deal for them to allow her to study. No one else in their family, especially the girls, has studied as much as she has. They come from a village, so for her, love marriage is something that does not even exist. To be honest, she does not even know what a husband-wife relationship truly involves. No one ever explained it to her. It is hard not to feel a little sorry for Rishaan.

At home, Mahira is quiet in front of her parents and grandparents. Outside, she is cheerful and full of energy.

After working for just one year, her family decided it was time for her to get married. Mahira did not protest. She simply said it was up to them. Four months later, she married Rishaan. They met only twice before the wedding.
