Chapter thirty-eight

I dont know why or how but I find myself at the library.I walk through the doors and stopto look around before walking to the back. I sit down in a cushioned chair infront of a big glass widnow and take off my coat. I rummage through my coat pockets to find that i forgot my phone at home. I sigh and sit back. I stare out of the window and watch cars wiz by.

"Mabel?" a familiar voice says.

I look up to see my old history teacher Mr.Relm.

"Oh my goodness it is you!" he exclaims and I stand.

"Wow it's been a while hasnt it?" I ask as I hug him.

"Yeah no kidding." he laughs and he pulls away. He looks down at my left hand and his eyes widen. "Are you-"

"Engaged as of last night." I smile but then frown at the thought of Harry.

"Congrats but you dont sound so happy about it." he says as he sits me down.

He sits down across from me and I sigh.

"No, trust me im estatic but... Harry just... doesnt trust me all that much." I say.

"He thinks your messing around behind his back?" he questions.

"Yeah. Isnt that crazy?" I sit back and cross my legs.

"Do you give him a reason to think that?" he asks.

"No... Well, I was hiding something from him in my pictures... I swear it wasnt bad it was actually a picture of the puppy Im thinking about getting him but since I didnt ant him to look he did it anyway and saw a picture of Baley and I." I sigh.

"Whos Baley?" he asks with confusion.

"He was in my history class... he's kind of my best friend." i say trying to get him to remember.

"Oh yes! I know who your talking about... Harry thinks your cheating with Baley?" he asks with a hint of amusement.

"Yeah, he hasnt liked Baley from the start and he hates when I hang out with Baley."

"Why is that?" he asks.

"He thinks Baley is secretly in love with me and that he'll try something on me which he never has. But Harry got mad that I had a picture of me kissing Baley's cheek and now..." I sigh. "Im here."

"I know you may think thats not a big deal but to Harry it seems like the end of the world. He doesnt want to lose you."

"But he wont. I love Baley but diffrently from Harry. I love Harry with all my heart and wouldnt do anyhing to hurt him." I look out of the window again.

"Than why dont you tell him that?" Mr.Relm states.

"I will, just not right now. I need to catch up with my favorite teacher." I smile.

He smiles back and stands. "Lets go get some tea than."

Four hours later.

I open the front door to my house and step in.

"Mabel is that you?" Louis calls out from the family room.

I walk in nd he stands up, blocking me from seeing Harry who is sitting on the couch with his face in hands.

Louis walks up to me and leans in. "Talk to him." he whispers then he walks into the kitchen.

I look back at Harry and sit down next to him. We sit in silence for a minute until I hear him sniffle.

"Honey." I whisper as I scoot closer to him. "I... I need you to look at me please."

I grab his hands and pull them away from his face. I tilt his head up to make him look at me. Hi eyes are puffy & red and his nose is red. His cheeks are wet too. Tears spring to my eye a the sight of him.

"Harry." I croak as I wrap my arms around his neck.

He pulls me to him and nestles his face in my neck.

"Im so sorry." He says against my skin.

"It's okay. I shouldnt be keeping things from you. Thats why... I need to tell you something." I pull away from him and he stares t me with confusion and worry. "I didnt want you to go on my camera roll because Im kind of..." I wipe his face with my sleeve. "Looking for a puppy for you."

His face lights up and he smiles. "Really? You were getting me a dog?" he asks excited.

"Am. I just hope Pepper wont get jelous." I say as I glance at her.

He looks at her than back at me. "i wouldnt want that. Pepper is our baby, I wouldnt want her upset."

"Yeah agreed." I smile.

"So are we cool?" He asks and I shake my head.

"We seriously need to talk about our situation."

Sorry if the last two chapters are weird and or bad, I got a tablet with a keyboard and im not really used to typing on it so if there is a lot of grmmer mistakes you know why.
