The morning ocean breeze feels very refreshing. Inoo takes a deep breath, enjoying the warmth of the morning sunshine from the hotel balcony. The day has finally come at last.
26 years passes too quick. It feels like only yesterday Inoo held Yuto for the first time in his arms. The tiny cute pumpkin is now taller than Takaki and Inoo. But no matter how big he become, Yuto never lost that childish side of him. The boy resembles Takaki a lot, both in terms of physical appearance, and also at heart.
Who would have thought his childish son will end his single life this soon.
Oh my... why am I crying?
"Kei?"
Inoo turns his head around, smiling sweetly at his spouse. Takaki has don the blue traditional outfit they agreed for the wedding ceremony, looking handsome and gorgeous as always.
"Are you all right?" asks Takaki, concern at the tears that is accumulating in Inoo's eyes.
"Just feeling a little sentimental I guess," replies Inoo, shifting his gaze back to the sea. "Time flies so fast."
Takaki smiles. He approaches his beautiful spouse and hug him from behind, gently rubs the sides of their head together. "Our chibi Yuti is now a fine young man. You raised him well, papa Kei."
"WE raised him well," Inoo corrects the statement. "You are a great father, daddy Yuya."
Takaki tightens his hugs. "Because I have you by my side."
"Remember when Yuto first rode his bicycle?"
"How can I forget?" says Takaki, chuckling. "He slept with the bike!"
Inoo laughs as he reminisces the memories. It was Yuto's 5th birthday. They bought him his first bicycle. Yuto left his own party and started cycling at the nearby park. Takaki was having a hard time chasing after the boy. Yuto unfortunately skidded, falling hard and injured his forehead. Inoo who is usually calm, lost his cool the moment he saw blood oozing from his son's forehead. They brought him to the hospital, where Yuto received 3 stitches for the laceration wound just above his left eyebrow.
But Yuto kept on crying. Thinking he was in pain, the doctor adjusted his pain medications several times, but ni change in Yuto's behaviour at all. It turns out that he was worried about his new bicycle. Takaki had to clean the bicycle and somehow manage to smuggle it into Yuto's hospital room. The boy slept not long after, hugging his bicycle as he dozed off.
"He was quite a handful," Takaki scratches his head.
"Just like his daddy Yuya, stubborn but adorable," Inoo teases his spouse. "Ah... Look what you have done!" he turns and buries his face on Takaki's chest. His tears uncontrollably flow down his cheeks.
Takaki gently strokes Inoo's soft hair. "Don't worry, I feel the same too..."
"Gomen... I'm happy for him, really, I do. Ryosuke is a nice man. The way Yuti smile when Ryosuke is around, I know for sure they are so much in love with each other. But the thoughts that he won't be living with us anymore... makes me feel a bit lonely..."
"Well, we can always have another child if you want," Takaki smirks and playfully touches Inoo's round butt.
"Yuya!! I'm being serious here!" Inoo hits Takaki's chest.
Takaki could not help but burst into laughter. He wraps his hands around Inoo's waist and pull his pretty spouse towards him again.
"Even after all these years, you are still my spoiled Kei. I love you babe."
