Hello lovely readers! I had a little bit of writer's block for a while, so I paused. Now, I'm back, and yes, the storyline is changing!

Who'd have guessed a demon was involved? Much less one of the very first demons?

But of what importance does a demon have in a werewolf story?

Chapter 16:

I woke up with a jolt.
My fan was swirling noisily, a motion that stated our power holding company had given us electric light, or in simpler terms, 'up NEPA!'.

Without looking at the clock, I knew the time to be past nine, and it was.

Yawning, I stretched, rolling out of bed.

A fun thing about Sundays in my house was the fact that I wasn't coerced into going to church.

I'd earned that little freedom through little acts of truancies and the older I grew, yes, you guessed it, outright disobedience.

Now, it was up to me to decide if I was going or not, something my friends didn't have.

Believe it or not, Nigeria is still a country where as long as you live in your parents home, they control you.

It even extends, more or less, when you move out, and in some unfortunate cases, it persisted till death.

Anyway, as I was alone today, I decided to make the best out of my time.

The thought of time drew my eyes to the clock.
It read 09:11 am.

Good.

I had till midday before I would invariably be bugged by my siblings.

First things first, I took off my boxer shorts, revelling in my nude glory.

Now naked, I walked to the bathroom, frowning as my small itel it 2160 screen lit up.

I had a new text message.

It was from Joce, telling me the normal stuffs that girlfriends tell boyfriends.

I quickly replied, then powered off my phone.

Today seemed great, and I was prepared to totally rock it.

A quick shower, some basic chores, then a kitchen ransack showed me I was terribly hungry, but somehow, my siblings had devoured whatever it was that they'd prepared.

Within five minutes, I'd prepared scrambled eggs, procured myself a giant loaf of 'Efe' bread, made me a cup of tea, and settled down to dine.

My father's laptop came out next, and I plugged in his modem.

Time for some research.

Typing Æsmödéūs into Google didn't come out positive, so I opened a link, one I'd never used before, into system.

Immediately, Æsmödéūs popped out, and any relation of his whatsoever came out.

Grinning, I rubbed my jaw, thinking, damn! Even if Ogun believed in the days of old, he sure did have use for the present!
