I re-read the requirements for the job as I prepared to ring the doorbell: A college degree, two years experience, and a class A drivers license" I only fitted two-thirds of the criteria but I had something no one else had, determination, I was going to get that job at all costs.

''Can you tell us a bit about yourself" Mrs. Garcia said, she and her housekeeper were interviewing me.

''My name is Clara Mayers" I said, of course, I wasn't gonna risk my whole plan by telling them my real name."I studied medicine at Stanford University for a few years but decided to take some time off to discover myself"

'Discover myself',I couldn't have picked anything whiter to say. The truth was I had gone to med school for four years but had taken time off to execute my plan .My plans for the future stopped at 'Elijah Garcia pays, the end'.I don't even know what I would do after I'm done with the Garcia's.

''I have two cousins who I used to take care off all the time, unfortunately, I have little professional experience but I have a class A driver's license, I was always top of my class, I am very handy during emergencies considering my medical experience, and I am fluent in nine languages" I continued, the last part was a lie but I doubted she would check.

''Okay, Clara you seem confident in yourself and your credentials are pretty good."Mrs. Garcia said

PRETTY GOOD !! Why not excellent or magnificent or great, I began to panic I was way  in over my head, I wasn't gonna get this job

"So if you ace this question the job is yours,...Can you change diapers?''She said after a while

Diapers!! I had never changed a fucking diaper, I always shied out of the task when it came to Devon's sisters or Ava I really hated poop, a lot.

''With my eyes closed"I replied, that's what google is for anyway.

"Okay then you can come back a week from now and settle in so you can begin, would you like to meet the family first since you're gonna be living with them," she said with a little laugh

"No, not yet I'll meet them then," I said as I quickly gathered my files and made for the exit on the verge of a full-fledged panic attack. I needed to breathe. I quickly bid them goodbye and got into my car. The thought of being near  Elijah had fully dawned on me. It would be the first time I would be seeing him after testifying in court and I thought I was ready but I apparently was not.

So I spent the next week preparing myself and tying loose ends to my plan because as soon as I entered that gate on Thursday next week I will be Clara Mayers and there will be no time for revising the plan.
