In a castle made of fiery colours stood a young boy in the middle of a conversation with another, more colourful, being. There was silence, a tense air thickening around them.
Eventually, the larger one spoke, "How did you fail this time? What is your excuse? How did you fail such a simple mission?"
The smaller one adverted their gaze to the ground, shuffling his 'feet' across the ground.
"I don't know! I just-" The smaller one was stopped with a stern gaze from the larger being.
"I'm tired of hearing what you have to say for yourself. It'll just be another excuse." The larger one let out a sigh. "We can't let you keep on messing up these missions. One day you'll blow our whole project to ashes."
The smaller one shrunk back at his tone and let out a, "I know."
The larger one rubbed what seemed to be his eye and approached the smaller one.
"Right, I'm sending you on one more mission. Fail, and the consequences will be endless." The larger one explained.
The smaller one nodded and let out a sigh of relief when the larger one exited the room.'One last mission that I can't mess up' They thought, 'Surely they won't make it that hard'
The larger one came back into the room with a scroll and map. "I'm assigning you to try and make peace with the other colonies. There are one of each colony on this planet. So, provided you don't fail, we'll have these planets for our projects."
"Do they know I'm going to their planets?" The smaller one asked.
"Oh, you're not going to their planets."
