5. Blade

"Ocean." said a voice I haven't heard since my dad died. I froze. James looked over at Blade.

"Who are you?" asked James confused. He looked up at me. 

"James this is my brother. Blade." I said softly.

Jace go play that new video game with James. I don't think he's ready to deal with this. I said towards Jace. Jace stood up.

"I got COD." said Jace. "James you should come play with us." 

"Okay." said James. He gave me a look before turning and going with Jace and the others. I'm guessing  the look he gave me  was his you better explain later look. 

"It was." said Blade. I nodded and turned towards him. 

"What are you doing here Blade? You made it clear you wanted nothing to do with the pack." I said. 

"I'm not here for the pack. I'm here because I heard you found your mate." said Blade. "And from  the looks of it the rumors are indeed true. You have finally found your mate. I'm happy for you little sister.  I've missed you."

"Me too." I said. I sat down on the couch and Blade followed my movement with his eyes. 

"You can sit you know. Its your house too." I said. He sat down.

"Sorry I was just thinking about how much you have grown up. You've become a very beautiful young lady." said Blade. 

"Thank you." I said. "So where did you go? Where have you been? What have you seen?" 

Blade chuckled.  

"What's so funny?" I asked confused.

"You're still the same. You haven't changed. Well besides physically. Your still serious on the outside and a sweet little puppy on the inside." said Blade. I playfully pushed his arm. 

"So where have you been?" I asked eager.  

"Paris, Rome, Venice, Africa, Egypt and Austria. I've been almost everywhere." said Blade. 

"Why?" I asked. "Why did you leave and not stay here with me?"

He sighed and looked at the ground for a few minutes. He looked up and I saw the sadness in his eyes.

"I left because the elders asked me too. They believed that with me gone you would succeed in your duties. They were worried that u would be more worried about me being depressed then you would be with your duties to the pack. They wanted me out of the way so I wouldn't distract you. They made me believe that with me gone you were better off. That you had better things to do then take care of your suicidal little twin brother who couldn't even shift. They sent me to a boarding school in Europe. They've been sending me money ever since to keep me away. I heard you had found your mate and I decided that what the elders had done was wrong and that you need me." said Blade. I sat there in silence. The elders sent my baby brother to the other side of the world. Just so I'd become a better alpha. I jumped up. Blade jumped up after me.

"Listen Ocean. It doesn't matter anymore. It's already been done. It was in the past. I'm back now and that's all that matters." said Blade. I started to shake. I heard everyone running down the stairs but I was to pissed off to care. 

"They sent you away." I screamed. "They lied to me." 

That's when the leader of the elders walked through the front door.

"Ocean." said Ivan. He's the great grandson of the first beta of the pack. I glared at him. 

"YOU TOOK MY BROTHER AWAY FROM ME YOU ASSHOLE!!!!!!" I screamed. 

"Ocean you need to calm down and realize that this was all for your own good." said Ivan. I picked up a candle and threw it at his head. He ducked and it hit the wall above him shattering into a million tiny pieces. 

"I need to calm down." I screamed. "You need to get out of my house before I go Alpha and tear you to shreds."

"Ocean. Listen to me. You better stop acting like a child and grow up." snapped Ivan. "Or else."

"OR ELSE WHAT?" I snapped. "YOU GONNA THROW ME OUT OF MY PACK? THE PACK MY GREAT GRANDFATHER MADE. MY FATHER SAVED YOUR WIFE'S SORRY ASS FROM VAMPIRES. YOU THINK THREATENING YOUR ALPHA'S GONNA WORK. ELDER OR NOT. I AM YOUR ALPHA AND YOU WILL NOT DISRESPECT ME. NOW GET OUT OF MY HOUSE." 

"Ocean you are hereby suspended from alpha duties for a month." snapped Ivan. I growled and changed.

"O. Don't." said Jace. I jumped at Ivan pushing him to the ground before he could even change. I was about to rip him apart when someone grabbed on to my fur. I stopped feeling a chill go down my back. I stopped growling and turned my head towards James keeping my paws on Ivan.
