Chapter One: Where It All Started

Aimee POV

My name is Aimee, and I have lived in Ireland for as long as I can remember. I live in Mullingar, a town in Westmeath County.

I was awoken with bright light disturbing my peaceful sleep. My mother had opened the curtains to get me up for school. I got up and got ready, putting on my favourite white and grey t-shirt, my blue skinny jeans and put my hair in a loose bun. I walked outside and waited for my boyfriend. He walks to my house every morning, just so we can walk to school together.

"Hey Niall!" I shouted as I walked up to the gate. Today will be the last day we walk together. Cause tonight Niall's flying to London to go on X Factor. I hope it goes well for him, cause if it does imagine what might happen for him!

We got to school where my best friends Jess, Beth and Caery were waiting for us.The five of us have grown up together.

"Hey guys!" Niall and I shouted as we walked up to them. We all walked into the school and went our separate ways to our first sessions.

We regrouped at lunch in our usual eating spot.

" So are you nervous about X Factor?" asked a very curious Beth.

"Very." Niall replied quickly in a shaky voice.

"What are you going to sing?" asked Jess.

"Ne-Yo's So Sick." He sat there nervously, waiting to see what our reply would be.

" Thats great!" I replied in a cheery tone.

The group of us went through the rest of the day and waited for each other out front of the school. We all walked to Niall's house to help him pack for the trip.

An hour later we were outside the airport saying our goodbyes. Niall looked like he was ready to cry. He pulled me into a tight hug, whispering "forever" into my ear. I repeat it back, also ready to cry.. Then he leaves.

The girls and I sat in the car crying, then we leave. In the end we didn't hear from him for years.
