Chapter 3 - What's Going On?

Nialls POV:

I watched as my old friends walked out of KFC. To say I was confused would be an understatement.

We got our food and sat down at the table. Why didn't they say hi? Why did they just walk out when Beth found out it was me?

"What was that?" asked Liam.

"That was my old friends ignoring me." I sighed, wondering why they had just waltzed out like that.

"Why?" Asked Louis. He looked extremely surprised.

"I haven't got a clue!" I replied miserably, not even trying to eat.

"Have you contacted them over the past 3 years you've been with us?" Zayn asked, idly picking up a chip and swirling it in the potato and gravy mix.

"W-well no." I admitted, shrugging.

"Well, there's your answer." Liam said, eating a chip

I pushed my food away and didn't eat a thing. I could tell everyone was worried about me - Hell, even I was worried about me! But I just wasn't hungry, which was a first, but I just couldn't believe that I forgot to ring or talk to my best friends.

Aimee POV:

We went into the car park and hopped into Beth's car. As soon as we pulled out of KFC we began hurriedly discussing the events in the fast food store.

While they were talking, I was thinking about how much I missed one of my best friends - and boyfriend. Yes that's right -  we were - and I put definition on the WERE here - together, but then he forgot to call or visit then started going out with other girls. That's the main reason we weren't happy to see him. But now he's back....what's going to happen now?

"Aimee, Aiiimmmeee!" Beth poked me

"Yeah!" i said 

"Jess and Caery are gone, we're at our house right now and I'm hungry!" she said, "Can you please cook and everyone's including mum is gone for the month." she shrugged walking inside 

"I'm glad I know why you keep me around." I said sarcastically, starting to cook spaghetti.

I finished cooking an hour later when I heard a knock on the door.

Beth and I got to the door at the same time and she opened it. There stood One Direction - and they has expressions appopriate to when you've been caught texting in class.

Beth spoke first, "Yes, what can I do for you today?"

"Well..." Niall began, biting his lip. "Our hotel kinda kicked us out..." he said scratching his head.

"Ok, and you came to my house because...?" Beth gave them a look.

"Well, Niall said you might let us stay." Liam said, a hopeful look on his face.

I looked at Beth and we both nodded 

"Fine, come on in." I said walking inside.
