Now that Kelly's pregnant I needed to be here for her because she was there for me now it's my turn to be there for her and now that she is pregnant she keeps asking me every question in the book about babies and pregnancy.

I stop by her house to keep her company because Tim works in the daytime and he calls me when he leaves for work to tell me what kind of mood she's in he knows that she will call me to tell me what happened. Which is good because he knows I can handle her.

I ring the doorbell and she opens it she looked like she had been crying Tim called me earlier and said she was tired but that's it.

Kelly:*dryly*Hey bey

Bey:hey kels

*She lets me in and we sit on the couch* bey: Thought I stop by to check on you

Kelly:bey you don't have to do that I know you're busy

Bey:Kelly I'm not busy but even if I was you're my friend and I like seeing you.

Kelly:bey but I'm fine

Bey:obviously not you look like you've been crying.

Kelly:*looks away*

Bey:kelly what's going on?

Kelly:*crying again*

Bey:kelly stop crying please and tell me what's wrong.

Kelly:*sniffles*bey my mom has...has has cancer *crying*

*I pull her towards me and rock her she laid her head on my shoulder*

Bey:*comforting Kelly* shhh it's gonna be okay just breathe *she was crying hysterically* I'm right here it's gonna be okay.

Kelly:s-s----she she can't die bey she's about to get a grandchild what am I gonna do without her.

Bey:kelly it's gonna be okay the more you talk about it the more stressed about it you get.

Kelly:*sobs* but she's my mom

Bey:I know honey I know *I rubbed her back trying to calm her down this definitely wasn't good for her or the baby*

Kelly*crying*

Bey:* my soothing voice*kels have you told Tim about this?

Kelly:*crying* no! I can't let him see me like this.

Bey:Like what?

Kelly:*sits up and wipes her eyes* He's never seen me cry ever like fall apart cry I'm perfect to him and I can't let him see me fall apart like this.

Bey:kelly he's your fiancé he doesn't care if your not perfect

Kelly: yes he will

Bey:kelly listen I know you're not perfect and I like you that way because if you were the perfect best friend then we wouldn't have anything in common.
