Simon: Hey what's up?

You: I think Im gonna tell them today

Simon: Just be safe about it okay , If you need anything Im here for you okay?

You: Yeah I know, thank you.

You meant Simon online through a game you played together all the time , the only down side was that he lived in Arizona, and you live in North Carolina. But he has been there for you for the past 6 months, like your only friend, you practically told him every thing.

It had been about a month and a half now that you had the thought of coming out has just been gnawing at the corner of your mind, and you had finally caved.

*5:35 pm*
It had been about 40 minutes and all you had been doing was watching tiktoks on your phone to procrastinate and wast time.
You finally decided to get up and go talk to your mom first, knowing she would tell your dad for you.

You opened your door to your mom standing there about to knock.

"I was just about to check on you , you have been in your room all day is everything okay?"
"Yeah.. Well actually no, can we talk?"
"Of course my baby girl what up?" You cringed at her word as you closed your door.
"I have to tell you something mom." You said as you sat down on your bed and your mom sat at your feet.
"Whats up hun?"
"Mom, I- I dont want to be a girl.."
Your heart was racing and so was your mind.
"So what do you want to be? There are many options in the LGBTQ+ community, I will love and support you no matter what you choose." You couldn't believe what she just said, so you just sat there.
"If you wanna be a boy, if you dont identify as either and your non-binary idc, your my kid and I still love you."
"I want to be a boy." You looked up at her to see she was trying not to cry, but you knew she understood.
"I love you hun, Im always here for you." She gets up and leaves the room, as the door shuts you can hear her crying.

*6:12pm*( Trigger warning-Transphobia)

Its been about 10 minutes since your mom left the room, and you just know she is gonna tell you dad.
You pick up your phone and call Simon, and just as he answers you dad is banging on your door, so you turn the volume on your phone off so Simon can hear you but you cant hear him.

"What did you do to your mother young lady?!?!"
"I didnt do anything-"
"BULL SH*T. SHE IS OUT THERE CRYING BECAUSE OF YOU!"
"I just told her something-"
"What the hell did you tell her then huh?!"
"I just-" he cuts you off
" YOU WHAT?!"
"IM TRANSGENDER OKAY!" You cant help but start crying as you start having a panic attack
"Thats non-sense , Your a girl, always have been always will be! If you try to be anything else you can get the he'll out!"
He leaves your room and slams the door shut, so hard the door cracks.
You turn up your volume again on your phone and start crying as Simon tries to calm you down.

*7:57 pm *
You just got off of the two hour phone call with Simon and go to your closet where you grab an empty backpack and start packing your things, including your extra binders and trans flag you have been hiding for the past 4 months.
Once you have what you need in the bag, you grab your stash of money you had hide in an old shoe box in your closet. Only 256 dollars. You would have to make it work. You put it in the bag and then hid it in the back of your closet, incase of an emergency escape.

*8:23pm*

There was a soft knock at your door and it creeped open. Mom entered the room with two plates of food.
"I made dinner, Ill even est in here with you, I know your dad can be scary but he loves you."
"Sure doesnt seem like it."
She handed you the plate of food and sat beside you.

After she left you just laid in bed watching tiktoks until you fell asleep.
