I didn't understand what this book was until I'd started reading. What i gathered was that a science experiment had gotten out and killed everyone and everything in the lab. It escaped shortly after killing everyone. Maybe that's what killed out the humans. But why didn't it kill me then? Why me? Why everyone else? And more importantly where is it now? Is it still here? I got out of there as quickly as I could but took the book with me. I raced through the field again but this time I didn't feel like a little kid. I felt as if I was in a horror movie. When they get chased by the serial killing monster. It and and found shelter in the nearest home.
