The History of the Strings

King Peppy had led Poppy and her friends towards a waterfall with a scrapbook,prepared to tell them the history of the trolls and strings
Peppy:It's a story as old as time,in the beginning there was silence
The scrapbook opened to reveal 6 different trolls in a world of no color and no music
Scrapbook Pop Ancestor:Boring
Peppy:Until one day,someone made a sound
*Bing*
Peppy:Our Ancestors were so inspired by this,they took six strings,each for a different type of music,and those six strings have the power to control all music,they could play anything.
Techno,Funk,Classical,Country,Hard Rock,and Pop
Peppy:And every kind of music in between,there was something for everyone,It was one big party.
Scarpbook Trolls:Yay!!!
Peppy:But little by little,the trolls became intolerant of each other's music
The scrapbook showed a troll from each tribe playing on the harp holding the strings,only to receive negative feed back from the other tribes.
Peppy:They fought over what kind of music the strings would play.The elders realized there was but one solution
Elder Scrapbook Trolls:*Nods in agreement with each other*
Peppy:Each tribe would take a string,and go there separate ways.
The scrapbook trolls all take a string corresponding to there music and all go in different directions.
Those six tribes have lived in isolation ever since.Techno,Country,Rock,Classical,Funk,and is,the Pop trolls.
Poppy:Now Barbs announcement makes sense,she wants to reunite the strings so the trolls world can be one big party again
Twig:Yeah,Party!!!
Branch:Wait that's all you heard,on big party
Poppy:Yeah it's when all the trolls lived in harmony,and what's more important than living in harmony
Branch disagreed
Branch:Well I heard fighting,the strings together leads to fighting
Peppy:Exactly Branch,that's why we need to keep our string safe
King Peppy walked up to the waterfall to reveal a harp that held the pink pop string
Peppy:Behold,the pop music string
King Peppy struck the string which let out a soft voice singing a little song and a glittery pink heart that had glitter land on Poppy,Branch,and Twig.
Poppy:It's beautiful
Peppy:And powerful,which is why we can't let it fall into the wrong hands
Branch:And we won't,not on my watch.What we need is a plan.
Peppy:Don't worry,I've been preparing for this day for years
King Peppy has a relaxed look on his face,that changes to frenzied as he tells everyone his plan
Peppy:WE RUN
Poppy:Run?!?
Peppy:And hide
Branch already had his camouflage on ready to hide
Branch:On it
Poppy stopped the both of them
Poppy:But we don't even know what we're running and hiding from
Peppy:We're hiding from Barb and all the other different trolls.
"different trolls" Those words hit very hard for a certain giraffe like troll. Cooper had always felt he was different from everyone else in the village,but he never thought much of it until this day.
Poppy:Your assuming the worst about someone you haven't you haven't even met
Peppy:Your not listening to me
Poppy:Your not listening to me
Peppy:I'm your father
Poppy:And I'm the queen
Peppy:Umm,father trumps,now there's no time to debate this let's go
Branch looked at Poppy with sympathy
Peppy:Come along Branch
Which then changed to a "I'm sorry"look as he grabbed Twig and followed Peppy
Poppy:We're all trolls,differences don't matter
*Later in the evening*
Poppy and taken the bat creature that delivered the letter to Pop Village,and given it a pop troll makeover
Poppy:Oh,look how cute you are,Barb is gonna love your new look.Tell her I look forward to helping her plan the worlds biggest party!
Branch:Poppy
Poppy:AHHH
Branch and Twig were standing in front of Poppy
Branch:What are you doing
Poppy:Oh,nothing
Poppy was trying her best to hide the bat from Branch
Sheila B:Ooo,Poppy's busted
Poppy tried to shush the balloon to keep from letting Branch her plan
Branch:Your sneaking out to meet Barb,your heading into enemy territory
Poopy:She's not the enemy,she's a queen,same as me
The bat then flew off,blindly flying away,bumping into Branch in the process.
Sheila B:Bye bye little bat
Twig also waved the bat goodbye
Branch:Your dad just told that Queen Barb is bad news
Poppy:Well my dad doesn't know everything.
Poppy walks into the balloon to make sure she has everything she needs for her trip,which is mostly candy.
Branch:Well he know more about this,you didn't even know there was a string until this morning.
Twig nodded in agreement
Poppy:He may be fine in a world where everyone lives in isolation,but I'm not
Branch:Well,but we don't know anything about the other trolls
Poppy:Well we know their trolls. Branch look around troll village. Everybody's different,even us
*Achoo*
Everyone heard a sound,it was Cooper trying to eavesdrop on the conversation,thankfully they couldn't see him
Poppy:Did you hear something
Branch:Stop trying to change the subject
Poppy:Look,being queen means having a lot of power and it's my job to use it for good.
Poppy closed the door to the balloon ready to take off
Poppy:I can't stay home when there's a world full of different trolls just like us.
Branch:Ugh,this is a terrible idea that will most likely,blow up in your face
Poppy:Ok bye.
Poppy cut the rope keeping the balloon on the ground and was off
Branch:What
Poppy looked down at Branch,and Branch looked back up,sighed,grabbed Twig and proceeded to climb into the balloon with her
Branch:Then I guess,we're coming with you
Twig:Yeah
Poppy sighed a sigh of relief
Poppy:Oh,thank you,I really didn't wanna go by myself
Sheila B.:Road trip
Poppy:Yeah
Twig:Woo Hoo
As the balloon flew off,Cooper looked up as if he was lost,could there really be other trolls like him.He wandered off to where the scrapbook telling the history of the trolls to get a closer look
Cooper:They are all different
Then he noticed something
Cooper:And this one looks a little bit like me
A leaf fell on the scrapbook troll that resembled Cooper,and Cooper being Cooper gasped then said
Cooper:We even have the same hat?!??!
Being inspired by his discovery,Cooper went home to prepare to go and find other trolls like him.This decision however was met with disapproval by his wife Chenille.
Chenille:You know this is a terrible idea
Cooper:I have to do this,it's my destiny
Chenille:It's your destiny to venture off into the unknown? You could get seriously hurt,or worse. Chenille had a look of both worry and fear on her face
Cooper saw this and walked towards her and held her hands
Cooper:I promise you,I will be safe
Chenille:Just let me come with you
Cooper:WHAT,NO,I have to do this alone
Chenille:Come on,you can't do this alone
Cooper:I have to
Cooper looked at Chenille with a look of determination,whenever he made that face,you'd know that he meant what he said. Chenille sighed
Chenille:Fine,before you go,could you at least say goodbye to your daughter
Cooper nodded and walked towards his daughters room. She was already asleep as it was late at night,but she was awoken when she heard her father walk in
Chenayee:D-dad,w-hat are you doing?
Cooper had nervous look on his face,he didn't know how he was gonna tell her that he was leaving.While he was trying to find the words to say,Chenayee noticed something was off
Chenayee:Why are you wearing that coat,and why are you wearing your destiny cap?
Cooper sighed and sat down to talk with his daughter
Chenayee:Daddy?
Cooper:Look,I don't know how to tell you this,but,I have to go
Chenayee:WHAT??!?
Cooper:I have to go out there and find other trolls like me.
Chenayee:You can't leave
Cooper:I have to
Chenayee:Well then let us come with you
Cooper:Your just like your mom. You can't go,it's too dangerous
Chenayee:Then why are you going?
Cooper:I have to
Chenayee began to cry at the thought her dad leaving again,it'd only every happened once before with the infamous Bergan attack,and at that time she was absolutely terrified at the thought of not having her parents,she never wanted that to happen again.
Cooper noticed her crying and pressed his forehead against hers gently
Cooper:I know this may seem scary,but I promise I'll come back
Chenayee:*sniffs* you promise
Cooper:I promise. He kissed her on the forehead before leaving
Chenayee:Come back soon
Cooper had walked out and noticed Chenille standing by the door,she gave him quick kiss on the lips before saying
Chenille:Don't forget about us
Cooper:I would never
With that,Cooper had left. Before he began his adventure,he took one last look at the only home he'd ever know and gave a final goodbye
Cooper:Goodbye,I hope I see you again friends,but even though it's scary,I have to go out there and see if there's other trolls like me.
Cooper began to walk away from the village only to almost fall off the cliff he was on
Cooper:AHH,Oh man this is gonna be hard
Chenille saw this and thought to herself
Chenille:He's not gonna last a day out there
