(Hi! I can't find very many fics about mad so here I am  Writing some.
This will focus on mad but I might throw in some other egos over time! So enjoy this mess)

Mad stared at the broken picture frame under his feet. Picking it up he got a better look at it, the image showed a beautiful woman with long dark hair she was smiling and holding her stomach. In the bottom corner in faded writing: Stef and oli.

Mad looked at the picture in hand a feeling of dread  Washed over him. This picture looks so Familiar, stef... stef... Stefanie. He began to cry, why? What has gotten in to him, oli... Oliver. Who are these people? Why can't mad remember, "shit" mad did not know what to do. Eventually he folded the picture gently and put it in the pocket of the lad Coat.

Mad moved on to looking through his old desk, but some thing in the back of his mind nagged him. Not much else was found, jest some old notes and some thing about a theory or two. He hears some yelling from up stairs, the voices sounds like mare and matter fighting again. Mad choose to ignore it, not wanting to be bothered by something so trivial.

At times like these, when he is alone mad feel a little at peace. A far comparison from his normal Demeanor. All ways presenting new theories, new experiences to conduct, and some arson to be done. But some thing was different right now mad  Could not put a finger on it. Jest a num feeling, no new ideas, jest num.

To try to feel like himself again mad pulled out some more paper, getting to work on his next big experiment. What can he do.... what can he do... um well, how about figuring out how much it will take to poison mare! No he had done that all ready... maybe he can see how close he can get to making a real life Kirby. No not right now, and why?  mad continued to think of a good experiment to do but nothing was  Interesting enough to make the cut.

That is when mare walked in to his lab.
"Mad what are you doing?" Mare did not sound Threatening but mad felt a chill go up his spine.
"N- Nothing" Mad returned.
Why was he scared Mare had done nothing to him yet.
"Oook" Mare looked suspiciously at Mad "anyway I came to rant about shit"
"Oh" mad looked up from his work "w-what about?" Mad felt nervous, scared, and angry. What was wrong?

" I am so done with matters shit"
"..."
"He is trying to destroy our alliance with the ipliers"
"..."
"Jest because he has some beef with one of them, the night Guard one I think"
Mare keeps on ranting, but Mad gets more and more nervous as Mare becomes angrier.
"I'M SORRY" Mad yells out
"What?"
Mad is shaking, a laugh emerges from Mad
"I-I'm sorry" followed by more laughter.
"No need to yell you dipshit" Mare looks confused.
Mad picks up a scalpel from a small box. "P- Please stop, get away"

Mare looks at Mad face his eye are unfocused, he looks scared...
"Mad what's wrong?"
"I won't-won't let you hert me a-again"
"Ok that is enough"
Mare snapes his fingers and a small cloud of  Purple mist surrounds Mad, who fell asleep almost instantly mumbled out some thing Mare did not Catch.
"Ok time to go to bed"
Mate takes Mad off to his room to rest...

A  Hour or 2 later Mad wakes up in his bed no memory of what happened. Assuming he got tired cleaning out his old stuff, Mad gets back to work. Looking in his shelves and desk. Once he was all most finished jest a few more drawers

Then he found it a ring, strung through a silver chan, mad held it in his hand. It all  Flooded back to him, Stefanie his wife... his loving wife, his son Oliver.. he was never born. Tears flood mass eyes "n-no" he remembers what happened to them both.

Picking up the picture mad looks at Stefanie, "I'm-I'm so sorry" he holds the picture to his head. Both are dead and it is his fault...

He remembers the talk with Mare, why he was scared.... now it was Mad's tern to scare him, he will pay for what he did.

(And that is it hope you enjoyed it! More will be out soon if you have a request I will be more then happy to write it!
See you next time!)
