[PROLOGUE]

The lads and I are heading down to The Ritz, a luxurious hotel we went to after the success of our Up All Night concert tour. Going back there was Liam and Zayn’s idea. I just pretended to be happy like the other lads, but going back down there didn’t really thrill me. It brought back memories that I don’t ever want to remember.

I miss her terribly. Nostalgia: A sentimental longing for the past.

“Lou, is everything alright?” Harry looked at me. “You seem awfully quiet.”

“Yeah, it’s not like you.” Liam said.

“I’m just probably knackered from last night.” I said smiling at Hazz and Liam. None of my mates knew what really happened to her, all the while they thought me and her just didn’t work out.

Alexis Greene, she was four years younger than I am. And I’ve been telling everyone that I wouldn’t date anyone as young as her. That was after I met her. She was beautiful in every way possible. I closed my eyes bringing myself back to the day we first arrived at the hotel.
