Y/N's POV

After what feels like a whole day, we finally reached Shinzen High. The sky was bright blue and the clouds were looking pretty. I got out of the bus and was very thankful, for nothing bad happened in the bus. Well...I won't say it was bad, but Akaashi kept glancing my way. I have kinda ignored him for a long time and I hate to admit it, but I'm being an idiot for ignoring him. But, what else am I suppose to do? Act casual like nothing happened, after being rejected by your crush?

He didn't reject you, he just didn't say a word.

Isn't that clearly rejecting me? Ah...whatever, I don't want to think about it. It makes me want to cry. There was two bus's by ours, which means it's either Ubugawa's, Nekoma or Karasuno's. "Y/n-Chan, are you feeling better?", Bokuto-San asked as he got off the bus. "I guess yeah, I mean the nausea feeling is gone and my head is still kinda hurting but I can deal with it.", I replied and before I knew it, Shirofuku handed me painkillers with a bottle of water. "Have it.",she said looking worried.

"Aren't I having too many medications in one day? And I didn't have a heavy breakfast so...", I trailed off and Kaori and Shirofuku stared at me with the 'unbelievable' face. "We were clearly asked to have heavy breakfast!", Konoha tagged along and they all kinda looked frustrated at me. "I'm sorry, but this morning was not really my mood and i didn't even know that I was already out of my house, until I reached school!", I said defending myself. "Gah...Akaashi, What will happen if she takes medication without having food first?", Shirofuku asked and damn...of all people it had to be Akaashi. "She might have stomach pain.", he said not looking at Shirofuku but me.

You really have to talk with him.

Nope, don't need to. "Guys, I'm totally fine! Look at me, I'm looking healthy as ever!", I said trying to cheer everyone up. "Y/N, you are looking pale. Healthy people aren't suppose to look pale and weak.", Konoha said and I glared at him. He had to be smart now and not other times. "I may look pale and weak, but hey! At least I'm still active!", I defended myself, also trying to cheer up the worried looks given to me. Since, it was not working, I had to play it the hard way. "You guys being worried about me, makes me more sad and sick, please cheer up.", I said placing my palm on my forehead, acting like my head hurts. Well, it is actually hurting. After those words left my mouth, their eyes widened and they smiled at me. Not a forced one, but a genuine one. "Now, That's the Y/N we know!", Bokuto said and we laughed.

We all headed to the gym and was greeted warmly-correct, actively by Shinzen, Nekoma and Ubugawa. Bokuto looked really happy meeting the captains of the other teams. I guess they knew each other. Practice matches started and I couldn't help myself but look at Akaashi once again. He actually looked kinda distracted and I could clearly see that his attention was not fully on the game like other times. Their practice match was over with Shinzen and they were now taking a break while Ubugawa and Nekoma were playing. "Akaashi, are you okay?", Bokuto-San asked and Akaashi looked at him confused and answered, "Yes, why do you ask?"

"Gah.....your toss are a bit sloppy today, and you also look distracted.", Bokuto-San said with a worried face and the others also looked at Akaashi worried and confused. "Sorry, some stuff has been on my mind lately. I'll try to give you better toss in the next match.", Akaashi said like he was actually sorry and not-so sorry for his sloppy tosses. Bokuto-San looked my way And I gave him a worried look. Karasuno soon made it here and to my surprise they were lacking behind like a lot.

Hinata and Nishinoya always looked my way and smiled and I would always laugh at them. "Do you know them?", Kaori asked me and I nodded. "Before school opened, theirs were already opened and during the weekends, I kinda coached there for a while.", I said and everyone looked at me shocked. I thought it was only Kaori and Shirofuku who were listening- "you coached them?!", Konoha asked and I nodded. "That explains why, they are unexpectedly stronger than they used to be.", Komi said and I snorted. "Today was the first time you played with them how do you know?", I said and Komi glared at me. "Well, Nekoma also said the same thing!", he tried to defend himself, which he failed miserably when I laughed. "It's good to see you laugh.", Konoha said and I smiled. "What? It's not like I don't often laugh.", I said.

They soon had a practice match again with Nekoma this time and well...Karasuno was kind having a break and... "Y/N-Chan, how are you?", Hinata asked along with Nishinoya. "I'm good. How are you guys?", I asked and they laughed. Weird as ever. "Never been better!", Nishinoya said giving me one of his sweet grins. "Noya-Senpai, you look unexpectedly super happy today.", I said and he laughed along with Hinata. Damn, this two are just cute. "That's cause, I get to meet my pretty junior!", Noya-San said with Hinata nodding his head. We soon had to depart our ways, as it got dark and well, practice matches were over. But, Bokuto was still not tired. Kuroo-San the captain of Nekoma, was like the second version kinda of Bokuto-San. "Kuroo, meet Y/N. Our beautiful 1st year manager and champion volleyball player.",Bokuto-San said and I snorted and wanted to laugh so bad, as the way he described me was just...hahahaha.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Kuroo.", introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm
Y/N.", I replied and shook his hand. That's when I felt Akaashi go tensed and his eyes where looking stone cold when I shook my hand with Kuroo-San's. Well...at least he looked more relaxed after we shook hands. Kuroo send a knowing look to Bokuto and they started laughing. How do they read each other?!

"Ahh...Y/N-Chaannn?", Bokuto called and I knew he wanted me to  do something. Whenever he wants me to play with him or do something, he always extends the Chan to Chaannn.

"Yes?", I answered and he smiled sweetly at me. "Can you toss for me?", he asked and I was actually shock to hear that, even Kuroo was. "But, you have Akaashi-San to toss to you.", I said looking at Akaashi and it was at this moment we had eye contact for a good five seconds, until I looked away. "His toss are reaallyy sloppy today.", he said, once again extending the really to reaallyy. "But, you need to have trust in him, so that he tosses get better.", I said he looked confused.

"I never really thought about that. Thanks Y/N, you're a genius!", Bokuto-San and literally called Akaashi to toss to him and Kuroo to block him. I gave a small laugh and slowly walked out of the gymnasium.

First day of Summer Training Camp, trying to ignore Akaashi. Not a Success.

I know, I know. This chapter was hell boring and there has been not much Akaashi and Y/N's time, but trust me next chapter is going to be a BLAST! Did I spoil anything? No, right? Right...👀
