Ever notice how drink driving adverts (or at least, the ones I've seen) follow a format?

Like here's how the ones I've seen always went:

1. A group of people are at some sort of event where there's alcohol consumption going on.

2. The protagonist of the advert decides to leave after having a few drinks and it's usually only the protagonist or the protagonist and their loved ones/relatives that go.

3. If there's someone with the protagonist they ask if they're ok to drive to which the protagonist says yes despite drinking at the event, usually with the excuse "I'll be ok," "I'm only down the road" or "I've only had a few."

4. So then they drive off and after a few seconds (which could be time lapsed minutes) guess what happens? They crash in a drink driving related accident and everyone (usually including the protagonist) dies or is severely injured/unconscious.

The end.

I mean, I know they're trying to get a point across and I think some road safety organisations borrow psa concepts off each other so it's understandable. But as a PSA fan I'd love a new plot for a drink driving PSA.

Anyways drink driving/drug driving is stinky call an Uber.

(Keep in mind my memory is a bit hazy and I could be wrong, but it's just something I've observed)
