For Diana's parents, a career in music and the arts would be out of the question. It's the one flaw they think their daughter has: her love for music. They think the arts are meant to be admired from afar, they have people who are meant for pursuing the arts, and to them, that's just not Diana. They want her to follow in their footsteps and become a Dentist, or at least no less than a career in the medical field. It would be easy to achieve exactly that if only it was what she truly wanted, but it's not.

Diana is undoubtedly musically talented. Particularly in composing music. She's in love with what rhythms and melodies can do to people. She learns to play musical instruments in no time, quicker than memorizing the periodic table, only because she finds music very soothing and stress relieving. Whenever she finds herself getting angry or sad, she would channel those emotions into music.

Her parents stopped her piano lessons once they found out she was getting attached to music. Nothing should get in the way of their dreams for her. Diana doesn't have the heart to let her parents down, so she goes and bears with it. Working in her dad's clinic wont be the end of the world, she would think.

Diana falls into the perfect high school girl stereotype. What, with being a cheerleader and a straight A student, people just can't help but to stare at her in awe in the hallways. But, oh, how they are wrong. It's hard enough for her to maintain her grades as it is, because she so badly wants to pursue music, the stress she gets from her parents' pressure on her doesn't help.

But everything changes once she steps foot inside a music room filled with life and music, once she lets herself get lost in the music, once she starts to think that maybe, yeah, working in her dad's clinic all her life would be the end of the world for her. In that music room she finds her true self and realizes her true dreams.
