Once upon a young life
I had indeed knew why
The alarm clock did ring
Awaken the soldiers
Calling them off to war
To rage against the day
Halt the passing minutes
From withering on by
To die not for one's own
Undetermined country
But dying nonetheless
To one's immortal dreams
For the day to not end
The night to never come
But eureka, night comes
And now I do witness
All the blinding reasons
Alarms faithfully ring
Mock proletariats
Into a fairy tale
That a shiny new day
Gives us another chance
Escape the underclass
As every day warps by
Until the end at last
The alarm does still ring
In the sensitive ears
Of the silent soldiers
