Arnav is a billionaire and Khushi is working as his PA. Arnav loves Khushi but is scared to propose her because of rejection.Khushi also loves Arnav but she is scared because of her family. Arnav is living alone here in Mumbai only for few months because he wanted to take care of all the branches in India so that when he would go back to living with his parents in New York he can manage it from there. Arnav is a single child to his parents Arvind Kapoor and Ratna Kapoor. His parents are fun loving. And so friendly. Arnav has told his parents about Khushi. They also accepted his choice after knowing about Khushi from his. They have even asked Arnav to propose her fast, but Arnav is scared whether she will reject him. Arnav doesn't know anything about Khushi's family.
Khushi is an orphan, her parents passed away when she was 6yrs old, leaving her in the custody of her Nana-Nani...Her grandparents took care of her with their pension.....She finished her schooling in Goa.
She received scholarship from a reputed college in Delhi. So she went to Delhi to pursue her career. She used to do partime jobs to pay fees and other stuffs not wanting to burden her grandparents. She finished her UG and came back to Goa and started living with her grandparents. Her Mama and his family consisting of him, her Mami and their two daughters Payal and Lavanya came to live with his parents.
Her Nana and Nani passed with 2years gap between their deaths.
After her grandparents death her Mami took care of the household and she used to treat Khushi as a servant. But they allowed her to work in a company so that they could use that money for their livelihood, because there was loss in Mama's business. Payal and Lavanya are college dropouts, so no one would offer them job. Suddenly one day Khushi got an appointment letter from AR with a high salary. Her Mama forced her to join for the job because of the high salary. She then got shifted to Mumbai. She started working in AR but she had send them her 80% of salary. She used to struggle a lot in Mumbai. She was keeping quiet because they were her only relatives.
But when she salary hike she didn't inform them but continued sending them 80% of her old salary amount.
During her work in AR, she met Arnav who was her boss. She started falling hard in love for him, but she was scared of rejection and also about her Mama Mami. They wanted her to get married to their business partner who had promised them that if they marry Khushi to him he will save their business and offer money in return.
In Arnav's cabin
Arnav is working on his laptop. He hears a knock on the door. He asks them to come inside. Khushi comes inside nervously. Arnav raises his head and sees as there was pindrop silence. He sees Khushi standing in front of him with nervousness on her face.
Arnav: Khushi what happened!! Sit down.Khushi sits down.
Khushi: Sir I want one week holiday
Arnav: Why Khushi
Khushi gulps down her sadness and says: My family have seen a groom for me and have arranged my marriage in 2 days.
On hearing this Arnav's heart breakdown into million pieces.
Arnav: what! Khushi how can you agree like this...why this hurry..have you seen the groom..is your family forcing you....
Khushi cries silently and informs him about her family. Arnav gets angry on hearing this from Khushi. Arnav hugs Khushi and kisses on her hair and keeps consoling her. Khushi is actually friendly with Arnav and his parents.
Arnav: it's ok Khushi calm down..I'm there na..don't worry I will take care.
Arnav then makes her talk to his mom. He gives her privacy and leaves his cabin. He goes outside and calls his dad and informs him about everything.
Dad: Aru just bring her here. We will get you both married. For how many days more she should suffer. Propose her and bring her here. I can't wait to see my daughter getting hurt like this.
Arnav: Ok Dad
Conversations between Mom and Khushi
Mom: Beta why didn't you tell me all these days. You were suffering alone.i can't wait anymore. I want my daughter here with me. Ok. You don't worry I will ask Arnav to take care of everything.
Khushi: Ok Aunty
Then Arnav enters the cabin and tells Khushi that he will take care of everything and tells her that he will also go with her to Goa tomorrow.
Arnav: Khushi will you come with me dinner tonight.
Khushi blushes and agrees.
That night they go for a date, where Arnav proposes her and she accepts.He drops her in her apartment and goes to his and video called his parents.
Dad: Finally you got the guts to propose her
Arnav whines: Dad
Dad: What Dad...do you how brave I was when I proposed Ratna. Are you really my son...
Mom: Keep quiet Arvind don't tease my son. Now Aru since you have proposed and Khushi agreed, I want both of you here in the next flight.
Arnav: No mom. Me and Khushi are going Goa tomorrow
Dad: Aru why do I think you have a plan
Arnav: Yes dad and informs them about his plan.
Mom: Did you inform Khushi about it
Arnav: Not yet Mom
Dad: Arnav add my daughter in the video call
Arnav then adds Khushi to the video
Mom- Dad: hi beta
Khushi: Hi aunty and uncle
Dad: Kya abhi bhi aunty uncle...we are also your parents. So from now you have to call us Dad and Mom.
Khushi nods agreeing
Mom: So beta actually Arnav have planned something
Khushi: What Mom
Arnav informs Khushi about his plan
Khushi: But Arnav
Arnav: Don't worry Khushi everything will be fine. I will take care.
The next day morning Arnav picks up
Khushi from her apartment and they head towards airport. They reach Goa .
Arnav drops Khushi near her house and leaves for hotel.
The next day morning, Arnav comes to Khushi house and says he wants to marry Lavanya and tells them he will offer money in return. The family feels happy thinking he is very rich. Then Lavanya and Arnav goes for talking.
Arnav: Lavanya I saw you on the street one day I liked you. I was already married once but my wife passed away. In the sadness I had accident one day and I had lost ability to become a father.
But I know true love won't see all this..
Lavanya gets shocked on hearing all these. She goes and inform her parents about the same. But they are in a dilemma to cancel the proposal as he was offering more money than their business partner. So they decide to get him married to Khushi.
The next day they got married. Arnav gave them a blank cheque. Once marriage got over the same day they boarded the flight to New York. And the cheque which Arnav gave to Mama had his duplicate signature so they Understood they got cheated. And lost everything they had.
In New York
Arnav and Khushi got married again in front of his parents. Grand Reception was arranged which was covered by international television which was telecasted in India. On seeing which Payal and Lavanya got jealous.
Arnav and Khushi had a blissful married life with Arnav's parents and their baby on board.
