Chapter 4: Meet Yue

Sam and Dean went on a lead of where your dad was. You may of half lied and told them you were going to study for a test in the coffee shop a block away. You were going to the coffee shop, but you already took the test and passed with a B+.

You were actually on your way to meet someone who had the werewolf meat you needed. The only things you knew about them were...

You rounded the corner and saw the dark red car. If you had to guess, seeing Dean or Sam isn't around to correct you, you'd guess its a mini van or an ugly truck.

You saw the dealer. A seemingly tall asian with the body of a woman but, is non-binary, with a light blue Cheongsam. They looked at you as you waved. "Thanks for taking the deal. I know how hard it is these days."

They bowed and met your eyes. "No. Thank you. Many people do not buy from my family." You tilted your head. "My family has a strong spirit to guard us and our products. Many are too afraid to buy." You nodded as they went to the back.

"What's your name? In case something goes wrong and I need help." "Yue. Yue Chan." You watched Yue bring out a small bag. "You should only need this much. I suggest giving this beast several blows before giving it to him."

You give a solid nod before hiding the small bag in your car. Yue hands you a small medallion. Its a cold and hard wood, dark in color, shaped like a traditional chinese lion.

"I offer this to keep you safe. Will your deities accept it?"

You think for a minute, not feeling any big "no"s but not a lot of certain "yes"s.

"They're not saying anything right now. I'll accept it."

Yue nods and bows again. You bow to them before getting in your car and leaving.

You rub the lion's carvings slowly, feeling a extremely protective force.
