The Childhood Friend

You was walking down the street to your office, you was on your phone texting the number 2 hero hawks, you two had been friends ever since you were both children.

For someone reason when you both were 5 he had disappeared for a few month before suddenly he came back a different person.

What time is it? you thought as your eyes moved from the message you was typing out to look at the type, your eyes got wide.

"Shit I'm going to be late endeavour is going to fucking kill me!" you put your phone into your bag before starting to pick up your speed in your heels.

You saw the todoroki building coming closer as you opened the door before getting into the lift, you pressed floor 50 as the lift starting going up, you turned to the mirror behind you to fix your hair, the sound of a ding made you turn to see endeavour standing Infront of the lift with his arms crossed.

You lifted your hand, "your late Y/n!" You dropped your head, "I'm sorry sir my alarm didn't go off." Endeavour sighed pulling you out the lift before placing himself in the lift instead.

"I left your work on your desk, if You get that finished this afternoon I'll look over the tardiness." You nodded your head quickly before running over to your desk.

Mai turned to you, "good morning." You quickly sat in your seat before bring out your pen, Mai lifted her eyebrow before seeing the sweat going down your face.

Mai got up, you started to write stuff down before a cup was placed next to your hand, you looked up to see Mai got you a cup of coffee.

"Thanks Mai," She smiled before turning back to her computer, You turned to mai next to you, "also good morning Mai." You said before turning back to your work.

|Break|

You sighed against the window, Mai laughed before sitting next to you, "he looked furious when he realised you was late." You drunk your coffee before realising it had gotten cold, You made your way over to coffee machine.

"My alarm hates me I swear!" Mai tried not to laugh, "so does endeavour." You sighed grabbing your new coffee, you looked out the window to see the busy street below, a notification from our phone made you jump.

You took it out to see a notification from keigo, Mai smirked at your face, "Oooo what's with the face, your hero boyfriend?" You quickly looked up from your phone.

"He isn't my boyfriend!" Mai nodded her head, "You sure?" You flipped her off before seeing what keigo put.

How did he know I got extra work? You thought before another message came through.

You looked around you, but You couldn't see him, You smirked before you knew, yours and Mai's break was over, "yay more paperwork.." Mai touched your shoulder.

"If you need any help I'll be right next to you." You smiled before sitting back down at your desks.

|A bit later|

You was about to stretch your back before a villain alarm went off in the office, Mai turned to you, "was there a villain drill today?" You shook your head.

"Not that I know of." People started to scream and point at the window, You looked at the windows as you saw a nomu coming at the office at full speed.

Mai grabbed you pulling You down, glass shattered around you before a Shriek from the nomu was heard, Mai grabbed your hand pulling you to the emergency exit, a glass shard was thrown at you, you quickly pulled your hand away from Mai.

You fell to the floor, Mai quickly turned to you before a coworker grabbed Mai and ran down the emergency exit, You was left alone with the nomu.

You felt around your pockets for your phone before noticing your phone had fallen out your pocket, your phone was buzzing.

Keigo was calling your phone, You did a little smile, the buzzing distracted the nomu, you moved around the nomu before coming close to the window.

You looked out for red Wings in the air, the buzzing suddenly stopped, your blood turned cold, the nomu had stepped on your phone.

There goes all my pictures. You thought to yourself, a chair Infront of You fell backward, "are you fucking kidding me-" the nomu came running at you.

You covered your face, hiding in the corner before the glass behind you broke off making you fall backwards, You reached out to grab something.

You mistakenly grabbed the nomu's foot, You brought the nomu with you down 20 floors, "fly you stupid bird!" You shouted before stopping mid air.

You opened your eyes to see a jacket, You smiled knowing who it was, "you alright?" You nodded.

"I'm okay thank you." Keigo smiled to you before his feet touched the ground, Mai coming running up to you both before hugging you, "are you alright?"

You nodded before seeing the man that dragged Mai away leaving you, keigo grabbed your shoulder before you could speak your mind to the man.

The nomu's body was splattered on the road, endeavour came walking out the officer doors in his hero outfit, "thanks hawks-" keigo held up his hand stopping endeavour.

"It was L/n here that actually helped me kill this nomu." Keigo smiled at you, you turned your eyesight to the floor feeling shy.

"Well thank you Y/n but next time let the hero's do their jobs." Endeavour walked away, keigo tapped your shoulder, "he's really moody today." Keigo let go of you before walking after endeavour.

Mai grabbed your hands, "are You sure your alright?" You nodded your head before turning to keigo's back with his wings.

"Yeah all fine and dandy."
