Prolouge

*Third Person*
As the bell for lunch rang, a red clad chipmunk dashed out of the class, not caring about the teacher shouting his name to call him back.

He quickly picked up his skateboard and rode to the cafeteria. He looked around abruptly, hoping to see one specific person.

Ah ha!

There she was, sitting on her usual table, eating her salad. His heart started beating so rapidly, it almost felt as if it would jump out any second. He felt the blood rush up to his face and a warm fuzzy feeling skarked inside him.

He loved her. Of course, he wouldn't admit it to anyone for the world. Especially not her. He didn't even know if she liked her back. But, he had a plan. He was gonna make her fall in love with her. Just like any other girl.

Alvin picked up his lunch tray and went to sit down beside her. She seemed so lost in her thoughts that she didn't even notice his presence.

"Hey Britt" He said, trying to get her to snap out of her day dream.

She gave no response, except a dreamy little sigh.

"Hey Brittany!" He called again, this time a little louder and snapped his fingers in her face.

That seemed to do the trick. She snapped out from her thoughts and flinched at the sound.

"Oh, hi Alvin" she said, chuckling.

*Brittany POV*
I was dreaming about Alvin. The way his light brown hair shone when he rode his skateboard, the way his eyes gleamed like two diamonds, and the way his goofy smirk drove me crazy. And diamonds are a girl's best friend after all.

Suddenly, I felt someone snap their fingers at me. I blinked and looked up to see who it was. It was Alvin.

I felt my cheeks getting pinker the longer I stared. That boy was perfect. He had everything that I wanted in a boy. He had good looks, an amazing sense of humour, bravery and, well, good looks.

"Oh, hi Alvin" I said nervously. I hope he didn't notice it, though. I wanted to act perfect around him.

"Lost in thoughts, are we?" He said, cheesily. "I bet you were thinking about me~"

"Oh please! In your dreams, Seville!" I said, looking back at my plate to hide my deep red blush. That boy knew me too well.

As I began to eat up again, he picked up his lunch tray to sit on the bench I was on.
I felt my cheeks getting even redder.

What are you doing Britt? You are the love expert here! If Alvin isn't gonna make a move, you should do it.

Thinking that, I scooted even closer to him, smirking. He seemed to notice, and stared back at me with his usual goofy smile. We were now inches apart from each other. My brain was right. I am the love guru here. I never feel nervous around any boy. And Alvin, is no different.

Watch out, world. Brittany Miller, is back.

I felt him place his hand around my waist and pull me even closer. I could see his icy crystal blue eyes perfectly wander around every inch of my body. We both looked at each other for a long time, before being interrupted by the bell.

I removed his hand from my waist and got up, just to tease him.

"I'll see you later Alvie Poo~" I said, using my most seductive tone while running my hand through his hair.

"I'll be waiting, Miller~" He said, pulling me down to meet his eyes. I smirked and placed a kiss on his cheek before standing back up and going to class.

So, it looks like I have to start the process and he'll play along. That's nothing like the normal Alvin. But this wasn't a normal topic either. It's love.

And no one knows love better than Brittany Miller.
